not sure on why it would be a mistake??? be proud of what you buy and drive..thats the way to get this corner completely turned for hyundai. the consumers have to be proud and not act like hyundais are similiar to auto part store brand spinners when they were out, lol.
There are probably more threads with more posts about changing the Hs than any other thread. So I'm pretty sure that I'm not the only one who thinks the Hs are a mistake. I don't know how many people have removed the Hs but I'm pretty sure it is a significant number. I know the Genesis is a great car. I have owned three BMWs and still own one. My Genesis is the best car I have ever owned. But Hyundai has not yet over come the stigma of its past. These things take time.
When I was at the dealer yesterday the guy that sold me the car told me that they get two kinds of customers: one that already knows about the Genesis and one who doesn't know anything about it who says "Are you crazy, $40,000 for a Hyundai?"
Eventually the word will get around that Hyundais are no longer disposable cars. I get questioned all the time about my car because I no longer have the Hs. I always tell people that it is the best car I have ever had. If they saw the Hs they would know what it is and just assume anyther POS disposable car.
In fact someone asked me yesterday while I was stopped at a light on my way to the dealer.
Now, who knows how to get rid of those little tiny Hs that are etched into ever ywindow?
