First time hearing that the stinger felt sportier than the G70. Doesn't make any sense to me. He didn't seem that credible of a reviewer compared to someone like throttlehouse who knows his stuff.

Haha yeah, complete opposite in my experience. The G70 feels way sportier than the Stinger!

Yeah...biggest f’up was when he was zooming in on the steering wheel controls. Said the Mode button on the left was for driving mode. I stopped right there.

He also mentioned adaptive dampers when the prestige trim shouldn't have them.

He said the silver interior trim was all aluminum, but I believe that only the brushed trim around the door handle, on the speakers, and the drive mode selector are real aluminum, right? I don't think the strip on the dash and the long piece on the door panel are real aluminum.

100% not suede. It is faux suede...aka Alcantara.

Easy to clean...very resilient...no special treatment needed.

Check the brochure. Just says suede.
Anyway Alcantara is a proprietary blend. It only comes out of Italy.
If it were, they would brag about it like they do about Lexicon, Brembo, and the Nappa Leather.

The brand they use is Dinamica (made by Miko)...they make microfiber headliners. It is also made in Italy. Same shit...different brand

So...we got the brand name settled. Both make microfiber fabric.

Dinamica sounds about right. I read that somewhere. They're all micro suede of some sort.

What I love is it’s essentially a polyester. I had light gray Alcantara on my seats. After 4 years...looked like new. Other than burning it...you’ll be hard pressed to get it dirty (to the point of not being able to clean it that is).

I remember driving a Legacy GT Spec B with it. The seats felt awesome!

Was a little odd to me that he’s the first reviewer I’ve seen who considers the Stinger more sporty and planted.

Honestly though I’m fine with subjective reviews from these guys. Anyone can easily rattle of specs but I also want to get their subjective opinion of other aspects about the car. I then listen to multiple reviews and see if there is any common thoughts instead of placing too much weight on a single subjective opinion. If 10 other reviewers are all saying X and this one reviewer says Y then I’m gonna go with X likely being the actual finding.
