  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Genesis G90 Owners Roll Call!

Pressurized fuel pressure being released by sending fuel back into tank?

Hey, I am a G90 Black/Black 5.0 owner in Dallas Texas. I bought mine from Freeman Genesis/Hyundai in Dallas (really Irving, Tx). Got it March 3, 2018. Switched from a Lexus LS 460. I do not miss it. Freeman Genesis, is awesome, they know how to execute the valet service.

A year and a half into my 2017 Genesis G90 3.3T. Love the car and the service. Only had issues with the radio control head ( see post in another section).

You have the very same car I picked up in May. Still loving it. Where did you get it?
Sorry , missed the question. I picked up mine at Doral Hyundai in Miami.

Picked up my G90 Ultimate - Casablanca on black 5.0 just 2 weeks ago (11-29) and drove it to our winter getaway in FL 1,500 mi. away. Amazed that I got 24.4 mpg on a brand new motor not yet broken in.

Had a G80 that my wife is now driving. Recent past vehicles include an S500 in AMG trim, A8 and Porsche 911. Still having difficulty adjusting to the softer suspension but must say the comfort level is supreme and the miles flew by better than any other car I've owned. Now, if only Genesis replaces the terrible Continentals that come standard on all US 90's. Most dealers reporting problems with vibration which I have in the front end. Contract with Continental or not, Genesis should switch to better quality rubber for such an otherwise fine vehicle.

I purchased my G90 November 16th .. Im Thrilled with the car . AWD 3.3 TT

I bought my G90 AWD 5.0 last April. I have put 2K miles on it now with no problems at all. Initial quality was 100%. Love the car.

Congratulations Genesis G90 owners!

Just like our G80 roll call discussion for the G80 owners (HERE), let's see who our G90 owners are. Post a quick message letting us know you're driving around in the Genesis Motors flagship sedan!
Picked mine up in March of this year.
It replaced a 2014 EQUUS, which replaced a MB

Most Enjoyable Feature: EVERYTHING
2most Enjoyable Feature - 1/2 the cost of a S Class (Which I have owned 2)

Picked-up a 2019 G90 AWD 3.3T Himalayan Grey just last week after Christmas. It will be used for mostly for commutting to work and for entertaining with customers. Replaced a fully loaded 2016 Mercedes E-350.....there is no comparison in the comfort or quietness.

Enjoying the car and the ride!

Anyone own an Audi A8L and can compare it to the G90? Comfort, space, and ride quality?
I had an A8L which was quite spartan compared to my G90 5.0. Will say though that I wouldn't bring my G90 on the track like I did the A8 with tyres inflated to 50 psi. Maybe I'm just getting old but loved my A7 and A8. Taking time to get used to the softer adaptive suspension in the 90.

I just retired my 1994 Lexus LS400 at 335,000 miles. She was still running great but I was worried that she was going to out-live me and I wanted another great new car while I could still drive. After considerable research, it became obvious that the G90 was the one. I was looking for a pre-owned, low mileage Ultimate with a Himalayan Gray or San Simeon Gray exterior color. I finally found what I was looking for - a 2018 G90 Ultimate in Simeon Gray that had just been traded to an Audi dealer in the Boston area. I made the deal by phone, flew up from Atlanta on September 16th and drove back on Thursday and Friday. I am extremely happy with how she drove those 1,200 miles and I am looking forward to another longer road trip with my wife very soon.

Nice! You'll like the new technology since you bought the Lexus.

How do you like the San Simeon Gray? I've been debating colors and have gone back and forth from white on black, to blue on beige, but recently am intrigued by the San Simeon. Does it change color in the sun? Is the metal flake pronounced? Or is the color understated? The Himalayan is much too... "Lead" looking for me. Can you post pics in different lighting?
Thanks!

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
I’ve had my 018 Casablanca white Ultimate 5.0, 10 months now. Replaced an 014 Benz S550 in AMG trim. No regrets other than an annoying wind leak 2 dealers still haven’t figured out yet. Compared to a new similar Benz, saved $45K and not worried about badging because folks ask if it’s Bentley or Aston.

I love my San Simeon Gray! It is gorgeous and I have had several people stop me already to complement the G90 and color. I do not think the color is overstated. I could have easily purchased the car I wanted in White or Black because those are the colors for sale in this area. I was looking for something that would be complemented by the black(towards Gray) interior and the San Simeon Gray is beautiful with the black interior. It moves towards brown in low light (as you can see in the front photo) whereas the Himalayan Gray moves towards blue. I'm not sure how faithfully the camera and your display will reproduce the color but I they will help you make your color choice.

Looks great! Thanks for the pics, it's very hard to find real pictures of this color that arent digitally altered (sales brochures, internet ads), this helps a lot.
