  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Genesis GV70 Reviews

Macan rumored to be going all electric when they redo it next year. The manufactures are really biting hard on this move to PHEV. I think it is too much to soon but it is what it is. Exactly why I leased my GV70. Everything will be radically different in 3 years.

There will always be demand for gasoline-powered vehicles.

Agree but that demand will be greatly reduced and more relegated to rural area's. The good news is many are now moving to rural area's where driving distances are massive IE Montana and EV's won't cut it until they can get reliable range over 300 miles. Actually that's bad news that many people are moving to Montana..

My guess is most automobile manufacturers will offer both (at least in our lifetime) because of continued demand for gasoline-powered vehicles. There may be government incentives though to go electric.

Demand will also be in large urban areas where people street park and don't have their own garage space. This describes millions of people.

Agree. Many people will never have an option to charge a EV properly. I think it's being forced way too early.

The existing electrical grid/generation capacity could not handle a 70-80% conversion from gasoline, unless other demand is reduced or wholesale improvements are made. Too bad we didn't look harder at Hydrogen.

Is this reaction really necessary? Topics tend to occasionally veer off-topic on every forum on the internet.

^ it sure is. They do it all the time ruining the point of these forums.

And then to bring politics into it is a pure a-hole move and not needed.

What kind of care does the matte need? Can it go through a car wash?

Thanks for your video's. How many miles did you have before you started "launching" it?
That's not my car. You can go to the YouTube and ask the owner.
