  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Looks good. I'm not sure I would feel good about doing to the car what it would take to wire it.

May I ask what your first language is?

I don't like it. It is a distraction when driving at night. In daytime it looks cheap to me. I do like a dim halo mood light in ceiling that the Genesis has in some markets. My two Mercedes have it.

That I like. Anyone know where we can get that in the states here?

Looks way ghetto to me. Even if I liked it, as jmo15 stated, cannot imagine what it would take to wire that s'mitch!:D

I noticed that the brand new 2014 MB S class has optional LED mood lighting (with choice of colors), although not the same as implemented in the pics above.

I like it, would be easy to write up, depending on how you wanted it wired.

I think you can dim that mood light

Wow, that overhead mood lighting on eBay is really cool. Too bad it's so expensive. I just bought my used 2009 Hyundai Genesis in July of this year, and I was actually looking at the overhead console/light/sunglasses holder the day I bought it. I noticed the white plastic that goes around the entire thing, and I assumed (incorrectly) that behind the white plastic would be light. When I realized there was no light in it, I thought, "What is that point of this white plastic surround piece?" Evidently, countries other than the USA sell the Genesis with mood lighting inside the white plastic? I do miss the small blue overhead LED mood light that shone down on my center console/shifter area in my previous car (Mazda 6). I am curious to learn more about this topic.....

I have the same overhead mood light for sale. I will do $110 shipped USPS. I bought it for $160 and never used it.
