Do I just go with the curved badges on front and back or would you guys wait for the "correct" rear flat badge if you had to do it over?

If you are talking about this listing: Genesis Emblem Listing, I don't think it is an accurate comparison of the 2 emblems. It looks like 2 of the same emblem manipulated in photoshop. I believe (and other members here have asked the same question) that the wings on the front emblem are more upswept than the wings on the rear emblem.

Congrats on finally getting your new ride. I know the wait must have been tough. You sure are making up for lost time though!

I ordered the correct rear badge from the e-Bay Korean site, I will see how different it looks before deciding whether to pry off the other badge I glued on Monday. The total including shipping was $17.98 - worst case is I will have a spare badge! I also sent them a message asking why they don't offer the 18" wheel caps...

The only thing I like about the smaller emblem is that it fits in the stock holes on the trunk. I've decided to leave the larger emblem on the trunk as I really like the way it looks.....I'm almost thinking the smaller one would look too small after getting used to the slightly larger emblem.

BayWayRick: Congtrats! I also just installed the "Wing" emblem on the trunk of my Genesis I also bought and installed the "Wing" hubcabs which make it look great since my Genesis is Black/Saddle.

jwaters943: Your going to like the hubcabs, I installed mine this past Tues., my Genesis is also Black/Saddle and it looks fantastic!!! Also installed today the large "Wing" emblem on the trunk - classy!

The Mngr. at Rick Casey Hyundai came out to look at it and took photos, then, went and ordered the "Wing" emblem and the hubcabs!


On a footnote, have you found a license frame with either Genesis written on it or preferrably the "Wing" emblem on it? I am going to e-mail Koreanautoimports.com to see if they have it or maybe getting it/them.

Man, you are quick! I just got an email back from them and they said they had it. Only problem I see is this item is in Korea. 7-14 business days shipping via airmail. I assume that would also open it up to customs duty. May be the reason that KAI is more expensive. Supplier says, "Normally it will not be charged custom duty in your area."

Cabz - I think the wheel caps are all the same for the Korean market, just make sure you order for the appropriate size rim on your car.

Thank you for all of the helpful info on the "winged emblems". I ordered for Korean Auto inports (Wheel caps, and emblem) they sent me the large front emblem got it Thursday. I put the wheel caps on looks great. I reorded the smaller rear emblem from ebay (shipped Friday). I plan to put it on the rear, still undecided if I am going to put the front on one yet. Has anyone consided an emblem on the steering wheel? There are pictures on the KAI website but for the whole steering assy, not sure I would go that far but would put a stick on over the "flying H" in the center of the wheel.

Men!! I just finished to install the front KDM Genesis Wing Emblem, what a pain!!!!.
maybe I'm to perfectionist but it took me a long time to get the badge align, but she is a beauty now, it was worth the time. I'm going to take pics as soon as I can so you guys can see it. the rear badge is on his way.

Well my tail-gate Genesis badge just arrived via air mail & USPS. It took 8 days from point of order from Mr. Lee in South Korea.

It is the correct original MOBIS part still in the plastic wrap.

Now off to compare it to the front badge I taped to the rear....

I just installed the wings from ebay. They arrived 6 days after I hit "buy it now" in Hyundai OEM bag. Fit is great, the holes line up perfectly. Not bad for $13.99 + 3.99 for shipping. I got mine from ebay's - Best Choice Auto Parts. Same seller mentioned earlier in this thread.

With the confusion over the 2 part #s I originally installed the front emblem to my trunk. I removed it and installed the correct one. Attached is a pic.

Our badges order finally came in and I just got both badges side by side for a few pics. Smaller one is for trunk, larger one for hood. We are still waiting on our center caps.
