  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

GV60 Canadian Deposit - Local Dealer Information & Timelines

For comparison, the Ioniq 5 Ultimate in UK looks to be £48,400. Here it's $62k.
So I could see the $66k that people are mentioning for Advanced being in the right ballpark. They'd need to figure out how to offer a base model under $55k to qualify for the federal rebate though.

Am I the only one who thinks $66k for the Advanced is a bit much?

It seems Genesis

Not since the Ioniq 5 is 64ish , although you could argue both are overpriced

I don't know if you're the only one, but I think that $66K is a decent value compared to other products & prices currently in the market. If these were still the days where you could negotiate some decent discounts off of MSRP, a $66K firm price might not look as good.

They're all overpriced at the end of the day. After looking at an interior of an ultimate ioniq, I felt like I was the only who found that interior bare and unimpressive. I couldn't justify spending more than 40k on that thing. Comparatively, the GV60 is priced right at 66k if an Ioniq loaded is 62k, even for a base gv60.

$64 for the Ioniq 5? Do you mean the EV6? I'm on the Hyundai site, and the Ioniq tops out at $57K

I have very similar thoughts on the Ioniq 5. The Ioniq interior is far too spartan. The EV6 is a much better value in my eyes - particularly with its better range. Also, it's eligible for the $5K rebate.

Compared to other EVs, I think the Hyundai products are, overall, fairly priced.

Hyundai includes the federal rebate when they show the price on their site. If you don't count that, it's around $62k

Just spoke to my well informed dealer. He confirmed that the price was discussed at yesterdays meeting. $66,000 and $76,000. for performance. No government rebates. He also said the reason they have not released the pricing is they are advertising heavily trying to push demand.
Depending how big a preorder list they can build by the end of May they will revisit price and see if they can push it up further, based on demand.

Of course I am disappointed no rebate, I will be placing a pre order on a Audi Q4 and EV6 as backups now.

I know I will not get an alternative for 12+ months.

He also said that each dealer only gets 20 cars in the first go round. So unless you ordered day one and are below 20 at your dealer he said expect late November-December delivery.

So advance is qualified for federal rebate?

Yes. I saw that after posting.

Thanks for the info. I wish my sales contact was this communicative. Sad that most of us are getting much more info second hand than direct from source.

I just got an email from Genesis Canada - essentially preparing me for a late delivery. Who else is getting this?

I’m guessing most/all of us just got the “apology” email about the timing of the GV60, and that they are being built/delivered now. Kinda strange and I’m hoping they get us pricing soon or I’ll be out of here haha.

They wouldn't be sending this if deliveries were just a month or two away.
