  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I will proudly display my "H" badge. It looks fine to me. At least it's no worse than some other badges from other auto makers.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
Finished all re-badging today. Got all badges including wheel caps on ebay for $40, delivered from Korea, original sealed, perfect condition. Wheel part was the easiest: oven for 20 min, remove "H" from OEM caps, replace with wing from 17" cap. Looks great!

Trunk badge was unexpectedly the hardest! "H" was removed quickly with fan and fishing line, but there was A LOT of glue residue left on a car; took me about 45 minutes of constant rubbing with Goo Gone, WD 40, denatured alcohol and plustic knife to remove all glue. Man, what stuff they are using now!

Front badge: removed center posts, buffed to make it smooth and not scratchy. Didn't add any extra 3M tape. Quite a few blue painter's tapes to mark middle and correctly position front badge.

Also removed all 4 sticky triangles from windows, some Goo gone to remove residue. Wish I can remove the other decals from windows (like my windows clean), will see if the tint guy can take it off before tint.

All in all, about 2.5-3 hrs. Will wait a few days for 3M to cure, then wash and detail. Bought a lot of Zaino staff, will see how it works.

P.S. East Coast guys! Any hurricane damage?

Zaino is awesome stuff. I've been using it for about 11 years now. Never disappoints and lasts a long time.

I rebadged (the front so far) mine yesterday and it looks sweet (Pearl White) 3.8L.
