  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Korean website I found that explains the LED Prada Headlamp install

Bmmotors has lots of good information, well pictures, of modifications that haven't really hit the states yet. Haven't checked out redtune but will have to at home. My work blocks IP's from certain foreign countries.

Two things I am interested in learning more about are:

1. Power open and close trunk.
2. Equus power shades for the rear windows.

I'd love to have a set of the Prada's for my 2010. Current pricing is a bit steeper than I'd be willing to pay however.

I did some research a while back and found that the equus's power trunk part numbers are the exact same as the korean genesis's. However the parts were in the neighborhood of $2000-3000 much more than I'd want to pay for that right now. Have not looked into that rear shades install yet will definitely see if possible.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
looks like just switching one wire for the prada conversion?

I'm pretty sure the Genesis Prada has a special AFLS ECU module if you want a direct retrofit. I'll dig it up later when I have the time.

so you think its different than the r-spec one?

Yes please if you could I would appreciate it so much! :)

So what about the cars without the AFLS module? Is that one plug and play? I am sure a lot of us on here want to upgrade to this because we have Halogen headlights.

we need a clarification on the translation. My Korea contacts have no idea. What does that box do, and if we use it do we still need to change the pins? I have the lights so Im ready.

That should be correct. You will not get AFLS settings and it should work plug and play. The changes in the PIN for the headlight is for the AFLS horizontal movement.

That's great news to hear. I can't wait to have the sickest 3.8 in the business....lol.

so wee need the new ecu no matter what? and only re pin if you don't have afls?

Just got a 2011 4.6 and I would LOVE to have these headlights!! I hope this can be PnP.

To clarify

If you do not have AFLS, it's plug and play.
If you have AFLS, you can relocate the pin or purchase the ECU.
