I'm not remotely into the whole modding thing and never have been. I take the approach of buying a car that meets my needs stock, and not immediately looking for a 100 different ways to spend money changing the car I just bought.
But clearly others enjoy the process and feel they gain a net benefit from the time and money invested. Since the time and money spent are theirs - not mine - their satisfaction is all that matters.
What I don't understand AT ALL is the claim that individual modifications to specific vehicles somehow hurt the brand overall. I suspect that the reason I don't understand it is because it doesn't make even a little bit of sense.
But even that absurdity looks almost cerebral in comparison to someone saying they are going to sell their car because someone on the internet is modding the same model. Unreal.
