Magnaflow Cat-back Exhaust for the R-Spec

I was very happy with the new Magnaflow exhaust and very happy to be done squeezing under the car. However the cat deletes sounded interesting so I ordered them. A real pain in the azz to get under there and pull off the cats but clearly worth the move. Thanks for the suggestion. The car is way more aggressive with the wheels chirping at the slightest touch. I took my wife for a quick ride after I put them on. She called me an "idiot" which confirmed I did the right thing. Lol

cat deletes ordered. credit card in hand pondering the exhaust. drone is not as cool at 47 as it was at 27. would really like a nice tune to mellow out the nanny, fix the tranny, and maybe kick in a few ponies to boot. decisions.....

So i decided to pull the trigger as well for the exhaust kit and cat deletes. Everyones price online is in the $1200 and up range. Anyone see other specials out there?? Hope I didnt miss out on all the "$850 deals"

Have you tried these guys yet? That's where I got mine. Great service everything was perfect.

I just pulled the trigger also, I emailed around to get the best price. This resulted in crazyboyauto.com $850 shipped to your door by Fedex in 4 days. I will let you all know what I think as well. Called yesterday they stated delay in shipping due to changes in design.
I question that answer but take from it as you may. They stated from last convo
It would ship thurs or friday and i would have tracking. Still waiting.

Anyone have issues with the right muffler not being centered in the bumper cutout?

I've tried everything to adjust it to sit lower but it's pushed up against the top of the exhaust cutout.

My next step is to bend the hanger bracket on the muffler a bit.

my cat deletes have been sitting here for a week. I only got them b/c another member in this thread said it tuned the drone down a bit more. every little bit counts

lol fedex received this morning... left work and 1hr later installed.

shop guys said, nice car... exhaust piece of cake to install, easy. $100 done.

the mufflers fit in the middle of the cutouts perfectly - no problems.

quailty fit.

performance increase = unknown returned to work and roads busy.

sound level increase = perhaps alittle louder then what the RSPEC should have been shipped with from the factory... a tad too quiet still but better then nothing.

drone = there is some but its minimal , i wouldnt worry about it for others on the fence.

weight savings = prob 40lbs or so reduced.

Potty did you install the cat deletes? It will get a bit deeper after those go in. Also noticed that the overall tone of the exhaust seems to get deeper with age. Very strange, but no complaints here.

shipment expected to be here friday. I know I could install this thing on my back with a few jack-stands no problem. Might be worth the 100$ my shop quoted me for the install though.
