Yes, there were graphical changes between v12 and 13. Go get the Free update on the website - no reason not to.

For Canada, you just email your Service Manager and he will forward to Genesis with your VIN and they will mail to you.

I was able to register and it says out of stock. Genesis experience also replied already and said there are no map updates available yet.

Obviously not the case, since the 2020 G70 had a newer version. I'll press the subject and see what the deal is..

But a new one will be out so they probably will not make any of the older ones yet. Seems smart to not send one today as a new one will be out in a week or two.

That's fair, although if they are downloadable it wouldn't matter. In any case, I'm looking forward to 13.5. Maybe it'll have Genesis branding, look and feel!

Ok, quote from Genesis below. I'm impressed they were straight up honest. Can't ask for more than that!

No updates are available at this moment due to quality control. Although there are no issues on vehicles that come with the latest factory software, earlier model year vehicles may experience problems during the update process. Development to address this issue is expected to be completed by next month, at which point it will undergo another quality control round before the website is updated with the latest version available in 2020 G70s.

Maybe in Canada you are experiencing what happened in USA three months ago. I downloaded Map V13 and got erro installing. They had to send me the SD card. After that MapNSoft stopped offering the map for a while but it's available again.

In Canada, they just delayed it. I remember they told me they were sorting out some compatibility issues and will send it out ASAP. It took them about 2 weeks to sort it out.

Who knows. My SD card wasn’t shipped from Canada. It came from the US for some reason.
But I do have to say that Voice Command for Navigation is somewhat broken on v13 compared to v12 that the car came with.
It can’t understand addresses anymore for me anyway. Only POI names now. I used to be able to say street name and number without much fuss before but now it doesn’t catch what I’m trying to say for any of the ones I have tried anyway.

I dont use the Voice Command too often. I prefer the Google search from the rearview mirror. IMHO it's way superior.

I haven't noticed any problem. I thought you were talking about the new voice search feature in V13, the one with the mic icon near the search bar.

My guess is v13.5 won't be for the G70. I'm thinking it'll be for the 80 and 90 - since they didn't get v13.

Unless someone heard something else
