  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Whenever I connect my iPhone to the car, I get audio from the iPod function...however, if I turn on Bluetooth, the audio stops whenever the bluetooth actually connects to the car. I have to unplug the phone, and then reconnect it in order to get the audio back.

I have a 2011 Genesis, with Nav package (not Tech).

Has anyone else seen this? Any idea how to fix it?

It took me a few months to figure this out, and after investigating - the only way to avoid it is to start your car and wait for it to say "Your Name's phone is connected" at the top blue bar and then after it disappears you can plug in the phone. It normally only takes about 10 seconds or less.

It seems that if you plug in your phone before the bluetooth connects it will be overridden when it does, pairing it with GENESIS instead of Dock Connector (USB / AUX).
