  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Now that "Genesis" is its own brand - how do WE grow from here?

How will the "Genesis" be handled by the dealer network? Is this a separate dealer like Infiniti and Lexus? Or just a separate corner of the dealership? Now, the big question. Does this mean we will be able to get one in a color other than gray?

As Mark suggested - If one can read, one can see that the 2016 Genesis is available in 9 different colors - the 2015 had 10 colors. You should really get out more often :)

this needs some explanation. I have owned two and neither was gray or any shade of gray nor did I notice a large number or gray cars purchased or present on the road compared to any other color.

The current Hyundai Genesis & Equus lines will become the master machines for all Genesis progeny to come, sort of like the gods on Mount Olympus.

Therefore, all future Genesis models should be sub-discussions under their master's forum to properly delineate their subservient status.

The almighty have spoken.

You are referring, of course, to the 1st generation, that properly started everything... :-)

I'm looking forward to popping a G80 badge on my '12's posterior ASAP.

The Chrysler wings are HUGE and even more old farty than the G1 logo. The apparent new one is an improvement over the G2 one as well. It's was in their press release and is on the Genesis Motors site, so I'd bet this the new restyled logo they referred to...

G1 - retro/"old farty" (looks fine next to the Chrysler logo):

G2 - more modern/streamlined:

Genesis Motors: - even better:

Never cared for the G1 wings - least elegant among the various winged badges for auto brands.

The G2 wings looked unfinished.

The G3 and brand-emblem is better, but still can be improved.

Wonder how many G1 Genesis owners who haven't done so will now rebadge and whether G2 Genesis and Equus owners will swap out the G2 wings and the Equus emblem for the brand-emblem wings (if I were an Equus owner, would keep the Equus emblem); would take off the Hyundai oval at the rear tho and replace it with the G3 wings just b/c the Hyundai oval is so darn ugly.

In terms of site house-keeping/reorganization - would, of course, need to add sections as the new models are added to the lineup.

Question is - since the Genesis coupe is staying w/ the Hyundai brand (whether it will continue beyond the current gen is a ?), should it be deleted as a separate section (while maybe still allowing in an archived format)?

Or can keep in other H/K section - as think it would be a good idea to continue following what Kia does in the luxury segment as their models will be related.
