  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Official 0-60 & 1/4 mile thread

Nice work! That was an excellent launch.

I'll be getting a flash tune next. There's word on the street that someone is coming out with a more aggressive launch mode. 😉

Ohhh, do tell! 🤔

Sorry for teasing!

Tork will be releasing their launch control upgrade soon....ish.... John said he's waiting for some software from Europe to make everything work, but the whole COVID-19 lockdown has slowed things down quite a bit. He told me he can include it in the Stage 1 tune, which is the one I'm planning on getting. Soonest it will be available will be at the end of April. But, I anticipate it might take a little longer...

My plans are Tork Stage 1 tune, then use the JB4 to control WMI if I feel like 18psi isn't strong enough. I'm planning on comparing 0-60's on the tune alone vs the JB4 - both on pump gas only.

Awesome. Looking forward to seeing the results!

And the way it’s looking I’ll be doing the same as Todd but my comparison will be for the rwd guys haha

Looking forward to that too!

Decided to take a little drive today again. There's a nice long flat stretch of road close by that's usually clear of traffic. I decided, heck why not try a 1/4 run? My 0 to 60 wasn't very good as it's a little cool out so the tires (lowered to 25psi) were spinning a bit at launch but a good run nonetheless it seems. I think if I had a better launch, I would've hit 12.9s?

Anyhow, hope everyone is safe out there.

^^ Yeah, your 60ft was terrible, so if you had more traction I would guess an easy 12.8... maybe better.

Ya the rule of thumb is every .1 you pick up on the 60’ equates to .2 in the back half

I actually found the tires I want to use to get my 1/4 into the 11s. And maybe even a 60’ under 1.70

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
This will probably be my last time testing the 1/4 on this street. Don't want to risk going to jail. Lol
I feel ya there. That’s one reason I quit trying recently. The other is traction at the track is a million times better lol

Hey guys,

Wanted to pop in here to get an idea of where I should go next for some simple bolt-ons and what the gains are on those. Unfortunately I haven't had the chance to tune map 6 with a friend due to the stay at home orders.

However, I'd like to reach out and see where you guys got the most benefit after the JB4/plugs etc. Right now I'm considering FMIC, intakes, or perhaps some modifications to the exhaust. I'll probably pick up some boostane and go for other maps as well, but I was wondering where you guys saw most secondary improvement.

I'm not sure if I'll be keeping this after the lease (might go for the GV80, but also maybe a Tesla, we'll see), so I'm not sure how good of an idea a WMI kit would be, but definitely would consider it. If anyone could provide some feedback that would be sweet!

So for those with AWD, what set-up (Sport or Custom mode - what settings?) are you using to get your best 0-60mph times? Are you always using LC for the best times?

What tire pressure?

I have DIY Intakes (similar to AEM) with JB4. With or without LC my times seem higer and inconsistent.
