  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Post purchase price details here (US $ only)

I was told later by another person ‘welcome to Texas’... sigh.
As if Texas is full of unscrupulous dealers or is worse than other states? Come up to DFW for I’ve been to 3 dealers here and had no issues yet. Granted until 2020s get here have not gotten into serious price discussions yet. Genesis of Dallas did not seem to have issues accepting circle A pricing when I brought that up. They have already submitted their first wish list allocation of 2020s. What I want is on their list somewhere I’m told. Time will tell.

The other dealer I have been dealing with has been straight forward... so not worried about that. Clearly had a crappy experience. The dealer said they would accept Circle A if I had a certificate.

Maybe it is worth getting to Dallas and driving the vehicle back based upon what others have said. I am I a bit of a time crunch with my relocation and needing to get a car in next week or two (and dealing with everything else that comes up when you move fro out of state / country).

Could someone by chance get the circle a for the awd 2.0 elite please. I seen estimates in here but nothing exact like the the other models.

Do you have a VIN for the exact one you want?

(Difference would come from port-installed options like the first aide kit or mudguards).

It is the same in my area one group bought out almost every dealership one by one and there is no real competition. The prices are horrible especially on used cars and sales managers won't deal at all. Have to drive hours to get any real one who will seriously will bargain with you. Told MSRP is the going rate unless it is an advised special real joy driving 2.5 hours to find someone who is ready to bargain some.

Go to a certified Carpro dealership. You can find them at carprousa.com Click on the certified dealers using your zip code and see if one is in your area. I wish there was one within a 100 miles of my location in Calif, but unfortunately, there is not a certified car pro dealer for Genesis in all of Calif. I did use a Certified Car Pro delaer last year when my son purchased his Mustang GT. You email for a VIP certificate and the manager gets back to you within a few hours. Then got the lowest price along with no haggle, and basically VIP Service along the entire process. Almost too good to be true.

One last thing...I am also looking at getting a Santa Fe... has anyone had experience in getting a better deal by trying to package two vehicles?

Could factor in to the negotiations, but you should definitely do your research for both cars and make sure the price you are getting reflects a "good price" for both cars independently. I would say its basically like negotiating two cars independently while dangling the fact that you're going to get 2 cars over their head. Theoretically the salesman should be chomping at the bit to land a 2 for 1.

Only one Genesis dealer in Western NY. Any suggestions for negotiating price other than knowing incentives, invoice and holdback?

Do some reading of this thread and the lease discussion one to find out about Circle A pricing. Once you have enough activity on the site and you are cleared for PMs, you can contact @r_spec and get a certificate. Good luck.

Add me to the list boys!

Havana Red 3.3AWD Sport

Circle A Pricing
$3500 lease cash
$1000 lease conquest cash
$500 lease first responder cash
0.00009 MF
36/10k miles

I was really pushing for a discount below Circle A, but this is literally the only Red 3.3AWD Sport with Gray stitching for 1500 miles. Felt like I still got a great deal considering at first they would not even honor the Circle A Price or the base MF rate. I could have rolled the dice and waited for new incentives, but again, did not want to take a chance on someone else grabbing this.

Huge thanks to @Beefer and @r_spec. You guys are awesome!

Gonna be a long extended holiday weekend before I can take this home on Tuesday.

Congrats.

I just got a lease quote for a 3.3 AWD Sport (Silver), 5000 down 10K/yr and 3 YR lease. Quoted 624/month TTL included. Genesis lease calculator with same terms, and adding conquest offer of 1K (since I have an Acura) comes out to $501/Month NOT counting TTL. I don't know how TTL is calculated but I read in one of the forums that it usually comes out to 10% of the lease rate. I'm in California so purchase TTL comes out to around 10%.

Does this lease rate of $624/month seem ridiculous given the current lease promo by Genesis?

You'd probably have to post your actual lease agreement.

Variables such as tax rate, some states taxing the total purchase price vs depreciated price, incentives being taxed vs not being taxed on it and the MF will change things greatly. Seeing that you're in CA, I wouldn't be Suprised if you guys get taxed at the highest rates on everything.

I believe you are correct! Total price gets taxed and I think it is before incentives.
