  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Post purchase price details here (US $ only)

I picked up one of those red 2019 repainted cars, AWD 3.3 Sport for less than $40k. I really, really wanted one of the blues or Siberian Ice, but couldn't justify the extra ~10k for just a different color...I will learn to love it!
Did it include any rebates/incentives?

I have a 2018 Q60 RS with 19k miles and have had nothing but issues since I bought it at 14k miles. I may potentially have my 3rd turbo replacement once a corporate engineer can finally make it to a dealership. Looking to maybe just turn the page and move on from Infiniti for good.

Why are all of the 2019s painted red?

I see a 2019 AWD in Houston for ~40k, but doesn't seem to be that great of a deal compared to what I am seeing!

Paint issues so they took them back and fixed it

Many of the early red cars left the factory (or arrived at dealer) with some discrepant finish, usually bumper, sometimes elsewhere. Genesis took them and repaired sufficient to be equivalent to new and then released to the market. Thus more 2019 red came later in the year and remained until now. Just as a side note I checked my region (Charlotte) this week, since I have time at home, and Black is a common color for remaining cars at dealers in 100+ mile radius of here. Marketing always has some idea of color patterns from focus groups and such, and then dealers use their experience in ordering and even then some colors seem to languish. Genesis has an excellent range of colors, more so than Audi and BMW in my opinion, so there is less "forced choice" for Genesis buyers.

I drove from Columbus Ohio to Lexington KY to purchase the vehicle, as it was the exact model and specs I wanted.

First impressions are that it's an amazing machine, and I'm glad to be a new member to the forum!

I looked at that car: I liked that color arrangement and felt the pricing was very attractive.

As it turned out, I found one closer to home (I'm in Louisville) at a lower price. Congrats

Hello, fellow 3.3T owner from Columbus! Congrats on the purchase; be happy you didn't have to deal with Dennis Hyundai.

For those who have made recent purchases- what were the requirements to get the 0% financing/84 months? Some of the dealership websites say it they require >800 credit score to qualify? Can anyone confirm this?

Normally I thought once you get over 750-760, you were considered excellent? To require 800+ will certainly weed out some folks if that was the intent. I’m still trying to figure out how to hit 850 just for the challenge. 21 points to go.

Thanks for the reply. I had the same thoughts. Every other manufacturer I see doing 0% financing for the same term seems to require 700, which I feel is very reasonable. I'm very interested in purchasing a 3.3 if I could qualify, but unfortunately I fall a few points short of 800. Congratulations on closing in on 850.

Dealer finance departments will work with you. If your 750 or above talk to your dealer and work a deal predicated on the finance rate and term you want. Dealers are hurting for sales so can’t see them missing a sale to someone who has excellent credit. Tell them you will put some money down for down payment to make a deal work. A reputable dealer will not let a 750 vs a 800 credit score not make a sale. You will love the car so give it a shot and don’t be shy about telling your dealer what is required to make this work. If they don’t listen, give them your number and walk out. They probably won’t let you make it to the door is my hunch.

You could most likely call Hyundai Finance and find out the FICO requirements for the 0% 84 month promotion. I'd be willing to bet it's something to has to be publicly disclosed. I know for a fact, Hyundai Finance uses Equifax Fico Auto score 8 to determine an individual FICO score. Google it, and it'll give you a little insight.

I just purchased a brand new 2019 G70. All dealerships check your credit reports but if you have 750 or higher you should have no problem getting the zero percent financing. The list on my car was $44,200, we negotiated $7,500 off MSRP. Genesis gave me $2000 to $3000 more for my trade in than other non Genesis dealerships so overall a great deal for me. I financed over 60 months at zero percent financing.

As a follow up to those who replied about credit score and financing- I did call the financing department this morning. They said anyone who has higher than a 740 credit score shouldn't have any issues qualifying for 0% financing. Unsure why Genesis shows "must have a minimum of 800 score" on all their financing pages..

Just curious, did you purchase a 3.3 or 2.0? I live in the Southeast and have been trying to work negotiations on 3.3s and it has been very hit and miss. Some dealers still want close to MSRP on the 2019s and it just blows my mind. It seems like every decent deal I come across is a demo.

I purchased a 3.3t. the sales manager I dealt with is Josh Brutcher, cell #972-757-9948. They have several new 2019s. Tell him Lou sent you.

I purchased a 3.3t from Genesis of Dallas, sales manager is Josh Bruthcher. They still have a couple of 2019, 3.3t on hand. Tell him Lou sent you...i need some brownie points.

I reached out to Josh and referenced you.. Currently waiting to here back. They still have two 3.3s listed at $44.5k. If he would offer the same deal at 7500 off and 0% financing I'd be willing to take it. Actually pitched the same offer to a dealership about an hour from my home yesterday and they acted insulted. Not sure if they feel less inclined to negotiate because of the 0% financing?
