  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Congrats, let's see some pics! Love the sport package. Just curious, since there aren't all that many pre-owned G70's out there yet, how's it holding up after 23k miles? Obviously I'm sure you did your homework and searched for the right car, so I'm sure it's in great shape... Just wondering about general wear and tear.

I was a little concerned too. The guy that got rid of it is a district manager for a restaurant chain here locally and used the car to travel between stores (they were still all stored in the Nav) so I knew most of the miles were highway. The salesman I worked with is the one who initially took the G70 in on trade and he said that the first owner trades his cars in every year since he puts so many miles on them. He also said he was a 'car guy' so that put me at ease too. The only thing I notice is the driver seat is a bit worn (glossy compared to the passenger seat). I drove a brand new 2020 a few days before this one popped up and it feels just as tight and solid as the 2020 with 200 miles did.

Hey all, new here and hoping some of you can help me out:

Currently shopping around for a leftover 2019 2.0 Mt and was lucky enough to find one local. I haven't started negotiating yet and was wondering if anyone has a suggestion for a good starting point. Was going to try and push $31k otd. Does this seem a bit too aggressive? Thanks!

Hi all I’m looking forward to buying the G70 3.3 elite AWD 2020. MSRP Is 49,370. With circle A it is 46,345. I am a recent graduate so he gave me extra 650 discount to reach a sale price of 45,700. Monthly payment after TTL would be 794$ 60 months and 0% APR. please let me know if this is a good deal. I have been looking around this forum and it might appears nice.

Genesis has no other incentives right now? There should be something you can get other than just a recent graduate incentive. If that is your dealers best price, wait several months for 2021s to start hitting lots and incentives for 2020 should improve. Don’t be afraid to lease to get lease incentives for you can still buy that out right or do a balloon lease and refinance after 30 days.

The mentioned incentives are available until August 3rd. I will wait longer probably until september. I still somehow need access to a circle A tho.

My 2 cents, in March the Circle A on my 2020 G80 Sport awd was about $2000 below invoice in my area. With incentives, my purchase price about 11% below msrp. Different time, different place.

Great to hear... I'm confident these cars will hold up really well over time. Seat wear is one of my main concerns. Our 2020 was new when we bought it last month, but the dealership had put about 700 miles on it for some reason... So they'd been driving some obviously, and the driver's seat already had/has some wrinkles in the leather. No worn spots/tears, just wrinkles like it's been sat on. I'm kinda OCD about stuff like that, but in the end it was the color and package we wanted, so we got it anyway. But anyway we've absolutely loved the car so far... Have gotten more compliments/comments about it in 6 weeks than my C63s got in 3 years! People are so curious what it is cause you rarely see them on the road.

The G70 has definitely been a head turner as most people don't really know about them yet. Love pulling up to a crosswalk and having people walk by checking it out!

Hey guys, i combed through the last 30 pages or so but now that its my time to step up to the plate I'm stuck. My budget is around 30k+6.5k trade in+incentives. I can go higher but only for my ideal interior exterior. (I know my budget is really lower end and i am willing to wait)
My ideal car was a Siberian Ice with Black/Red interior which would be a sport, but that lines up to around 53k msrp. I got ballpark quotes around 46k but in the end i was still compromising and I was a bit out of my ideal budget. I would rather wait instead of taking a 4 cylinder.

I recently found a used 2019 3.3 with 11k miles. Santiago Silver with the Black/Red interior. Price was hidden online so i had to call and they told me 43k. The information listed online isn't very detailed and the dealer is a little over an hour away. I am more than willing to try and talk down the price but with the 2021's rolling out now and later this year, I'm not sure what i should do.

Also if anyone has experience with the Nappa vs Standard seats that would be amazing. I've read as much as i can but i'm still at the crossroads because the only real difference that im seeing between the packages that are limiting my choices are due to the Nappa with sport stitching.

If you're not opposed to red, there are several "used" ones around with less than 100 miles on them. I just bought one 3 weeks ago, had 63 miles on it when I got in it to test drive. They are asking just shy of 40k, in a suburb of Houston.

Yeah I've been looking outside of my area and saw a ton of reds available for discount, esp the ones that previously had the paint issues.
The current deal I'm looking at which seems to feel like a really good deal is a 2019 Prestige with 20k miles for 37k out the door that im seriously considering but with the 2021s rolling out right now im hesitant

Has anyone leased a 3.3 AWD? Wondering how the numbers shake out.

Hello all,

Long time viewer, now time member looking for a 2019/2020 G70 m/t. Here's a bit of background from the post I just made to the Introduction thread:

I have been contacting potential dealers for baseline OTD numbers and am 90% sure that I will be taking advantage of the Genesis captive offer for lease/financing that's going on until 8/3. I would love to be a new owner of a G70 but am, just barely, willing to walk away if I am unable to get the price I want.

Potential purchases ATM:
New 2020 G70- 36.5K OTD
Used 2019 G70 (6K Odo) 33.8K OTD

Given the 0% apr for financing and 0 down+$399/month for 36/10k on the lease, I want to go for the new one. My credit is about 780. My target price, let me know if I am pushing too hard, is 33K OTD and don't wish to go over 34K. What do y'all think?

Just drove off with my g70 3.3t in Himalayan grey with all of the bells and whistles! I wanted the Mallorca blue with the black and grey interior but the only one my dealer could find with the sports package was in new jersey and was a demo car. I searched for my second color, the Adriatic blue and drove to that dealership to see if they could match my original dealership's offer of 46k and they said the best they could do was 5000 more than that. I noped right out of there as I did not get a good vibe from them and bought from my original dealership. The Himalayan grey was my third choice but it had the black with grey stitching that I preferred. I was trying to hit 45k without a circle A cert and I think I'm pretty happy leaving out the door just shy of 46k including a tire warranty that I was originally planning on getting because a road on my way to work is notorious for busting tires. Plus my insurance ended up being cheaper as well!

Hey All,

I'm looking to purchase a G70 in the next week or two.

Narrowed it down to:

New 3.3T AWD Sport - 52K

New "demo" 3.3T AWD Sport with 4.5k miles - 44k

New 3.3T AWD Prestige - 46k

I'm was torn between the prestige and the sport before I found the demo. Not sure I could justify +$6K just for electronic suspension.

But then I found the demo G70 sport for $44k. I'm thinking I can't really pass this one up. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated. Anyone have any experience buying new "demo" cars?

Thanks.

Don't know if it's too late but I got one for sale.

2019 Genesis G70, 950 miles it's pretty almost New, smell new, looks beautiful, large sunroof, 19" wheel, grey Himalayan, elite package, white leather.
its story is uncle bought it new at dealership for 46k, he drove it a Monday and drove it until the next Monday or so, and don't know the details but basically got hit front passenger.
Damage was really the door skin only and door shell bented a bit and just for that the insurance gave it a rebuildable title, I bought the door replacement from genesis dealership and replaced it and it's new again.
I took it to dealership for warranty to see if they would say anything and all was normal.
I got the :
5 year bumper to bumper
10 year power train
3 year paint, and battery and God knows what else.

But the coolest is I subscribed to :
3 year roadside assistance/connected care
3 year remote connect
3 year guidance
And 3 years free service and 3 years free valet.
And bunch of other stuff.

If anyone interested let me know I can proof the car condition is that of a car coming out of dealership except that I sell it 10k cheaper.

As perspective, I tried to get a 2019 red elite 3.3T rwd, offered $36k (before TTL) and they didn't even call back! On a car thats been sitting for over a year. Market differences too of course.

Where abouts are you located? I'm in the Northeast and just last week bought one of the 2019 reds, 47 miles on the odo, 3.3T AWD Sport for 36,900. And there were a couple available. Your offer doesn't seem that unreasonable

Hi,
I am a new user here. Just registered today. So i am in the market for a G70 3.3t AWD. i found a new 2019 G70 3.3t advanced awd which was listed at 39k + TTL. I got it down to $36k+TTL, so it would be around $39K OTD. Is this a good deal? I test drove this specific car and it was really nice! There is another 2019 G70 3.3T Prestige which is listed around $43K. I haven't negotiated that specific one yet, but what do you guys think would be a good price for both these cars? What should i try to aim at? Thanks for all the help in advance. I'm a newbie and any insight would be greatly appreciated!
