  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Price Paid For 2015 Genesis

as of now all dh sedans have lost 50 pct of ita value due to hyundai unloading their inventory. a gew people have gotten a new signature trim for 29k.

this means a used base model is worth no more than 26k.

The real question is, are these 2015 vehicles going to go down in price anymore, especially when the 2017s' will be hitting the lots soon?

2015 Genesis 3.8 with Tech package and tint MSRP $46,635 Price without trade in and TTL is $35,104.

Screaming deal on the old model year. They want these gone before the 2017's come in. If you are looking to get one now is the time. Most 2015's are going $11-$14K below MSRP.

Just picked up a 2015 5.0L Ultimate a few weeks ago.

It was a demo model with 11000kms on it for $51k. With taxes and interest, I'm paying $335 bi-weekly. Took the longest financing I could but plan on trading it in after 5 years.

A little silly to get a 96 month finance but $60k out of my investments means $500 less in dividends per month I won't be getting anymore.

I do have to ask, how are you getting these ridiculous low prices? I am right now looking to get a 2015 3.8 Tech package in California and i somehow can not get anywhere near those numbers... I would not even mind traveling a few states over to get a price like that.

Thanks,

Thanks,

PatrickStern, I too am in CA (Bay Area), and could not get prices anywhere near these levels. I went to Seattle to buy my 2015, 5.0; and was able to approach similar levels (in May 2015, paid $40.2K for a $52.8K car, TTL extra), and drove it down here; for me, it was worth it. I noticed similar pricing now in the mid-west, TX; I was looking to see if i could upgrade to a Ultimate...but all they had were Demos for 5.0 Ultimates.

So, suggest looking at AZ, NV, & TX....and see if you can get lucky. Do the whole deal over email and phone; incl getting in writing all terms, VIN#, mileage, etc; not sure if lease will work with this, as in my case the only way the deal worked was if I walked in with a certified check that they verified and deposited right away (even then, they mailed the title to me when funds were deposited confirmed in their account 3 working days later).

best...

autotrader has a bunch listed at 12 to 14k off msrp.

and yes when 2017 come on board there will be even more pressure on the resale value.

the way i see it, slightly used base models will soon hit 24k, 27k for sig and 30k for ultimate.

are the 2017's going to be the G90 model?

I would not even mind driving a state over to get one for the "Right" price!

I guess i should start looking on Autotrader like you said and search in NV and AZ to see what i can find.

Thanks!

Just picked up a 2015 Silver Genesis 5.0 Ultimate for 41,373. It did have 4700 miles on it as it was one of the loaner cars they used. They had more in stock as well.

picked up a 2015 Persian Grey for around 43k on 3-9-16 that included tax, tag, dealer fees, gap insurance, 1,870 miles... Demo car never titled.. First owner... I just came to test drive and drove home with one... I wanted the 3.8 but no discounts. also through in the bumper to bumper warranty to 100k instead of the standard 60k... :p

Been wanting a 3.8 Ultimate for about a year and with the recent additional factory discounts I feel fortunate to get EXACTLY the color combo I wanted new 2015 Ultimate with a sticker of 50,335 for 25,250 out the door with my 2013 Sonata Limited with 15K miles as a trade in. To my knowledge this was the only color/option 3.8 2015 Ultimate available in the New England area (NY to SC area). Maybe not the absolute best price, but I got EXACTLY what I wanted and am happy with what I had to pay.

That is an awesome deal. Does your car have the Ultimate package?

What state and dealership?

New to this forum but posts would certainly be more helpful with a location/dealership/state and the options. I'm looking at a 15 3.8 AWD Ibiza Ultimate and there are 5 in the DC area listing from $40,1xx-$40,3xx depending on the little options.

Anyone getting a 3.8 AWD Ultimate under $40K? They have a gray "new" loaner that they will sell for $38,700 but I'm not sold on Parisian with the 4K miles.

~$40K for an AWD Ultimate is a very good price. That's closet to what I paid for my 3.8 AWD Signature in November. I'm not sorry I pulled the trigger then (3yr lease) but I know I could have bought for about the same payment now.

I have seen that the Lease Deals are not available on the 2015s now, and the choices will decline as these deals get snapped up. I'd not wait too long.

My local dealer (Parkway Hyundai in Valencia, CA) actually has about 6 2015 5.0's. I need to find out what they are selling them for. Figured i'd share if anyone is out there for the 5.0's.

No sir it doesn't... but I'm extremely happy with the technology in this car... The lane departure warning has saved me twice because i couldn't see right away and the adaptive cruise is nice to..
