  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

MSRP is $42,000
Invoice is $39,299 (Found earlier in the thread).

So provided there are no other dealer add-ons then you are ~300 over invoice.

Regardless of invoice (don't know why the price on a new model HAS to be below invoice), $39000 sounds like a decent deal to me. However, I'll admit that I haven't done any serious shopping yet.

Don't forget that even though dealers pay invoice pricing for the car, all dealers get a 3% (of MSRP) holdback rebate from HMA once the car is sold. There are also other incentive programs from time to time. I am not suggesting that dealers should not make a profit, but it is very, very rare when they sell a car below their true cost. If there is a trade-in involved, trying to figure out the real price you pay for the new car is difficult.

Just put a deposit down on a 2015 3.8 awd ultimate package black on black with cargo tray and first aid kit. Should be here in two weeks

MSRP $52,580
My price $47,770 minus a trade in for a 2011 Genesis 4.6 $21,000 = $26,770 + tax, tag and title.

Picked up my new car this week. The price changed to $47,500. Works for me. :D

Final sale price ~$45,000. (3.8 RWD Ultimate Package)

Well I gave in and picked up a 5.0 ultimate yesterday. Couldn't find a right color combo that I wanted for almost 2 months so went with a rare color instead. lol

Black or White? :D

Finally an Ibiza blue! Congrats R-Spec! I'm dying to see some good pics of that color. My favorite!

Just a few bad phone pics. These pics don't do this color justice. I'll take some photos with my real camera before the sun goes down.

Wow R-Spec, Ibiza blue looks different in EVERY photo I've seen. I will have to see this one in person for sure to figure out the true color. It looks great though! When you get a chance, I would love to see a few pics taken with your real camera. In the meantime, enjoy your BEAUTY! Thx!! ;-)
