Price Paid For 2015 Genesis

I like to know buying experience and price paid for those that have purchased or leased A new Genesis. This will help us in the market for a new car to get a better feel of what we should pay for the car
If you have purchased a new 2015 Genesis please post the price paid without tax so we can compare make sure you indicate MSRP for the car.
If you leased a 2015 Genesis please indicate MSRP and monthly payment excluding taxes and title charges
i just got a written quote for 45780. when i walked out the door they were willing to drop the price another 1k. i had 2 other dealers match that price so i bought one. i live in Massachussetts and i'm sure you can still get that deal. i went to rte2hyundai.

Police528, was that an Ultimate V6? Any other add-ons included? Good luck with blizzard.

Hey y'all, just joined after buying a new 5.0 ultimate this weekend, black over ivory. Since I found the forum looking for price info I figured this would make a good first post. Deal was about 48,300+tax-$2500 vouchers+$220 fees= $49.4k OTD

msrp was about $55,730 on the sticker, only option was a first aid kit.

Too damn bad I did not qualify for any incentives like $1k loyalty or $1.5k military as those would have stacked to bring the price down another $2.5k...

Congrats on the car! I would have liked the 5.0 but needed AWD... My military discount was only $500 (still waiting for the check 😕)

Thanks for the welcome! I am excited to put some miles on it, test drive was impressive. Looks like I was off on the discount amount, still I am happy with the deal.

At first I wanted AWD but a confluence of events let me to the 5.0. First there were no ultimate 3.8s (red or awd) in the area, the only black one in awd was the absolute base model! Second they had more room to negotiate on the 5.0's as they were lot sitters. Third and most importantly was that I took a second test drive and put about 40 miles on the 5.0 which sealed the deal :D

I love the car, even with the 3.8 AWD, there's a decent amount of power! But I do miss the extra 100 horses from my Infiniti FX50 sometimes 😈!

Yeah the 3.8 is not lacking at all, if they had even a tech package 3.8 in stock(they hadone but it was gray)I would have had a much more difficult decision to make. the steering characterics of the 3.8 are fantastic and it felt more spry/agile than the 5.0. The seating and the stereo were must haves for me.

*Mine's a lease deal with the incentives available in Seattle, January - March 2015

Empire State Gray/Ivory - bought 2/2015
Ultimate 3.8 HTRAC, cargo tray and first aid
12K mi/year, 36 month lease

Sticker: $52580
Incentives: $1500 conquest (competitive owner) and $1500 lease special

Down payment: $0
First payment: $0
35 subsequent payments: $515+$50 sales tax=$565/mo

Disposition fee at lease end: $400

Best case, Total Out of Pocket cost to use this car for 3 years=$20,175

I sent email inquiries to all 3 of the local dealers on the Eastside near Seattle. All were very close...below $600/mo with zero down. The most responsive one was Doug's in Lynnwood. I happened to buy from the one closest to me and, as usual with these deals, it was complicated, involving free upgrades, keeping old promises, etc. so I don't know that you'll get that same deal but it should be close, assuming you have top tier credit.

I planned on buying my Genesis at the end of 2015 when prices typically drop and incentives are available. It is usually hard to get the relatively small dealerships on the Space Coast to match the “True Value” prices available in more populous areas. Not expecting a good deal, I contacted an Internet Sales Consultant on December 31 and was given an e-price of $45994 for a Genesis 3.8 RWD with an MSRP of $50205 (Ultimate, cargo tray, first aid kit, bumper protector, wheel locks, and free cargo net). He also threw in splash guards and free oil changes for life. The 60 month 1.9% financing was worth about $3000 relative to a 4% tax-free muni investment. The price was slightly below invoice even after including the $700 dealer fee. The OTD cost was $49674 which also included $2871 sales tax and $142 of registration fees.

Rather than wait a year for a lower price on a one-year-old car, I agreed to the deal. It turned out that the white car on the dealer’s website was actually used as a daily driver for a sales manager, but a similar car had just arrived at the port. After taking a short test drive to make sure the Genesis reviews were accurate, I signed a sales order on January 2. I took delivery on January 14 after a test drive down I-95 to make sure everything was working. The car arrived with 19 miles on the odometer. The buying experience was relatively painless and completely free of unpleasant surprises, tricks, waiting games, or even much pressure to buy extra products.

Thanks Sanguine. I got my '09 Genesis from Doug's and thought they were pretty easy to deal with.

Keep in mind that as far as resale values, you are essentially buying a year old car at that point.

I paid $48,000 for a 2015 Genesis back in July when they first came out. Negioated with five dealers.
It included all three packages.

I recently got quoted from a SoCal dealer:

2015 Genesis Tech 3.8 RWD

0 down, $485 per month including taxes.

Is this too good to be true?

No, that sounds about right. They're using $3000 in incentives (available from Hyundai through March) to pay off your down payment and, potentially, your first month's payment. You should be able to get out of the dealership with no money out of your pocket and a $485 payment for 35 or 36 months, assuming good credit.

Sticker was 43135 for the 3.8v6 with sig pkg/ first aid kit/ rear badge/ trunk tray/wheel locks and cargo net. i put 2500 down paying 400 a month 12k miles a year. 1000 loyalty & 500 miltary.

Is the $41.4 before the incentives came off? Pretty smoking deal if so...
