If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

RV and MF numbers are correct but looks like a meh deal because of the negotiated price. There is already a $1500 lease cash and another $1500 conquest cash (if you own a direct competitor's car) or $1000 loyalty rebate if you already own a Hyundai. Add these to your $46,753 and you will realize the dealer is only giving you about %6 off MSRP. Just check Truecar and I am sure you can easily find %9-10 off MSRP before incentives. Wait a little longer for 2016s to show up in the lots and %13-15 off MSRP on 2015s should be doable. Depending on your location and the Genesis inventory of your local dealers I would aim for something around $500/month (including tax and dealer/finance fees) with 0 down if you are looking to make a deal these days.

I'm not sure where you're finding these incentives or coming up with your numbers - I'm in the dc market and my negotiated price is already below the true car figure (see screenshots attached).

Sorry I can't see an attachment but of course I believe that you are beating the Truecar price but that Truecar price wouldn't factor in the rebates I mentioned above. It assumes you are just buying the car.

You can also check the Edmunds forums to see the lease terms/incentives and prices paid experiences:

I also use this excel spreadsheet to calculate the monthly payments myself:

I bought a "brasshat" which had 5900 miles on it. It was a manufacturer demo. MSRP was $55,855, got it for $41k after rebates and discounts. I don't mind the extra mileage, some would. And because of the TERRIBLE resale value of the Genesis currently, I lease.

That is an insane deal! Good for you! I currently own a 2013 RSpec and if I found a deal like that on a 5.0 Ultimate I'd upgrade in a heartbeat!

I think i am nearing the point of pulling the trigger on a 2015 3.8 rwd with signature and tech. I will be buying. I'm trying to figure out what my target OTD price should be. True car says it should be 40700 plus TTL (estimate about 15% in CA). That puts me right at MSRP OTD. That just seems high to me. I've read only 4 pages in this string, but I'm hoping someone can give me some advice.

Thanks in advance.

40.7K + TTL sounds about right. Don't think you will get it for much cheaper. Sig+Tech is $7500. MSRP on base is 38K and change. That is 45.5K total, You are getting it for $5K under MSRP. Maybe you can knock off another 1K. Good luck.

Would like some help folks.. Got a price for a Ultimate optioned 5.0 for $47,900, no sales tax or fees were added into this number. Includes the misc factory sticker mud flaps and few other goodies. No dealer added items, and no Platinum 10/100. Is this good enough? Any thoughts? Thanks

14% off MSRP is a sweet deal if that is solely the dealer discount not factoring in any rebates or incentives...

That is a sweet deal. I got the Hyundai Circle Discount and mine was around $50k.

Thanks. It had about $2.5k in rebates in the price I quoted. Sorry for confusion.

Hi all, new to the forum and Hyundai. Just bought a Casablanca white Genesis Ultimate 5.0
Sticker was 57k with every bell and whistle (All-weather mats, Hyundai emblem swap, mud flaps, etc.) I paid 51k after 2k in rebates. Not to mention they offered me a killer deal on my trade sight unseen. Never thought I'd go from Infiniti to Hyundai. LoL

I will say you cannot beat everything you get dirt the price you pay. The Audi A7 and Infiniti Q70 I was looking at were both about 20k + for the same technology package setups. Happy so far.

:welcome: to the forum and congrats on the new ride and joining in on the Hyundai Genesis family. I too have a 5.0 Ultimate and I must say, best car I have ever owned or driven.

:welcome: and Congrats!! You chose the best color combo ;) I still think the Infiniti wheels are my favorite OEM wheels of all time.

New member. Long time (15 years) owner of an Audi A6. Though it still runs, it's looking at 10K worth of suspension/engine seals/turbo work. I've always liked the Genesis. I'm wondering if any ex-Audi owners can chime in.

Living in TX, I really don't see the need for AWD. I've identified a few 3.8 models at a dealer close by. What is a reasonable price to pay for a Singature/Tech model, about 3K under sticker? I'm not really interested in the Ultimate package, but if it helps them move a car, will they discount it?

I haven't bought/leased a new car since 2000. A lot has changed.

I am trading in a 2009 Genesis. They gave me $12,960 for it.

My Elantra is worth $13,000. Ya shoulda kept the 2009 Genesis..... or given it to your kid..... or girlfriend......or charity.

Good to hear that Hyundai is generous with Trade-ins. I have a loaded 2014 X3 that I am thinking about trading. Do you think they will give me anything close to KBB trade-in value?

Also, is the incentive on lease and conquest rebate still available for March? Then what would be a target selling price for the lease for a 3.8 Ultimate, somewhere around $42k +TTL?

Glad to own a new Genesis! I got mine in the Dallas market. Casablanca white with beige interior. I got the base model with no upgrades. I did get the rebadging, wheel locks, first aide kit, and cargo net. Stickered at $38,950 (MSRP with destination fee). I bought the car (no lease) at $34.489. The total out the door was $37,000 after taxes. Just wanted to check to see if that was an ok deal. Happy with the car so far!

Was it Huffines in Plano or McKinney?

I'm heading to Plano with the title to my Audi this afternoon.
