  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Price Paid For 2015 Genesis

Clear bra, especially on the front bumper, is definitely worth it. I wish my dealer had offered it before leaving the showroom; that way the couple of nicks I got on the bumper during the first couple of days wouldn't have happened. The bumpers on these cars take a beating. I've never heard of ECP.

In general, ANYTHING offered by the FA office post sale is not a bargain. It is the last chance for the dealer to make up margin on a sale and the FA guys end up being their most successful sales people, as your defenses are down as you think just closed a deal, or so you thought. The general response in the FA office should be "no, thanks".

That protection stuff is usually BS and you can put that stuff on yourself for less than $40. Get a refund - as far as the bra, never had one and if its a lease, you are returning the car anyway and wont be charged for normal wear.

Can the dealer deny the cancellation? What should I do in that scenario?

If they have not put on the items yet, it should technically be able to be cancelled. They will tell you they can't, but push. Some states have a period where things can be cancelled on a car contract.

Thanks! Nothing has been done yet. I will talk to them on Monday.

Hello all,

Long time browser, first time poster. Finally traded my 09 Genesis for a 15 5.0 Ultimate, White w/black.

5.0 Ultimates are getting very hard to find around me, (Iowa), had three dealers competing for the sale.
Ended up leasing, 385/month, 12/36, 4k down. Includes first payment, taxes, title, license, and everything else. Sale price was 47,900, then had owner loyalty, 1500 lease cash, and some "Dealer coupons" to get to the deal I made.

Gave me 13k for an 09 V8 with 75k fully loaded in pristine condition.

I know, putting money down isn't the smartest, but I'm happy with the deal.

Very nice color combo. I have had mine now for about a month and still loving every minute of it. Amazing vehicle and plenty of get up and go for what I need. Congrats on your find and good $$ too.

G-me,

Thanks! The dark wood with the black interior is beautiful, although the lighter wood is also very nice as well.

I have had so many head turning "what kinda car is that" moments already and I've had it for 4 days!

Same here! My colleagues cdn't believe its Hyundai! (I re-badged the rear Hyundai symbol)

After a long research and shopping around finally pulled the trigger on a Tech AWD Parisian Gray Genesis, right off the truck with 18 miles on it:

MSRP: 49,130
Dealer Discount: 6,380
Rebates: 4,000
Price before Taxes and Fees: 38,750
Acq Fee: 595
Dealer Handling: 599
First Month's Payment: 421
Upfront Tax on Rebates: 276
Trade in Negative Equity: 472
Boulder County Sales tax: 8.15%

0 due at signing $421/month for 36 months 15k miles a year.

Sad to see my beloved Bmw 428 go but I got a comparable product for a better price so thank you Hyundai!

What dealer was giving you $7,800 off? The best I've found anywhere is in Washington with $6,000 off...I'm from Texas and I've been searching nationwide.

The dealer I leased my '12 from is only doing $5,500 off.

Sale price was 49,900, with 2k of dealer coupons to get to 47,900, then loyalty and lease cash. Sorry for the confusion, just rechecked my paperwork to make sure I had it correct.

Stew Hansen Hyundai in Des Moines, although a better deal was on the table at Evansville Hyundai with Colin, but too far away from me. Both were great to deal with, especially Colin at Evansville.

Thanks for the clarification.

Do you know what the residual and money factors are by any chance? Your payment is really low because of your down payment, but even without any money down and just paying tt&l, the payment would probably still be below, or right around, $500/month. I only have one offer thus far and it's at $595, 12/36.

Proud owner of Black/Grey Tech 3.8 - for my lovely wife.

Negotiated price was $42K and change. Added 10 yr warranty. Got window tint, pin-stripe, etc. for free since they bought it from another dealership.

Love the car and I am happy with the price. Good deal for Houston area, I think.

3.8 RWD with tech and sig packages, paid $42,134.87

Congrats, on the great price. I bought mine for about the same price, 42 and change.

Seems like a pretty good deal.

Love the car. My wife loves it more which is good since it is her car.

Turned in a 2012 Hyundai Genesis 5.0 R-Spec with 21,000 miles on the clock. It was the end of my lease. Picked up a 5.0 Ultimate Package ..... Zero Down, Taxes included, monthly is 518.00. that equates to a sale price of about $48,000. I'm paying plates and first month at pick up. Yes, the dealer made good. I picked up the car yesterday and we LOVE it. No, I can't tell you who the dealer was as I promised not to, but I will say it was in New Jersey.
