If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Price Paid For 2015 Genesis

Has anyone recently leased in the New England Area? Curious to know if dealers are starting to try and push the 2015 models out. I too am waiting to see what the 2016 might be like and hoping for better deals.

Anyone knows when 2016 Genesis will be in market in USA?

Well, I got a new quote from a different dealer. Must be something about me that says "sucker". These were the terms:

3.8 AWD w/ Tech pkg

MSRP:49,135
Sell Price:46,151
plus 2,500 rebates

$1341 down up front
565/month
.00096 MF

39 mo lease(asked for 36)
15k/yr mileage

Well, I got a new quote from a different dealer. Must be something about me that says "sucker". These were the terms and he didn't send me the MF, after asking him. Didn't get the cap cost yet either.

Maybe try just getting the exact final selling price of the car as you want it. Then comeback and ask about lease terms if the price is reasonable (invoice or below). Once you get the negotiated selling price, you may able to backdoor his lease price if he gives you a payment or use the known base MF and residual and tell him what you will lease for.

New figures:

3.8 AWD w/ Tech pkg

Final Sell Price: 43,651
$1341 down up front
565/m
.00096 MF

39 mo lease(best residual)
15k/yr mileage

He told me he has no control over the money factory either, said its all the bank :(

Im not exactly sure why the monthly payment is still high. Am I missing something?

Ask them what the residual on the car is after the 39 months. Also get the percentage that Hyundai guarantees. I heard it was like 54% or lower.
Since its getting close to the end of the month, ask if they have tax credits avail.

^^He said it was 55% on the 39 month

So both dealers are giving me money factor pushback.

Dealer 1 says its .00096 and they can't move on it since its set by the bank.
Dealer 2 says" I don't go over money factors. I let my finance manager handle it because it doesn't effect payment"

Pretty disappointed in both answers.

For some reason I can't register on Edmunds to ask for MF/Residual #'s for TN Leases. But I'm thinking they are closer to .00022. Which is a difference in payment of about $60, If I'm doing the calculation correctly. The final sale price is decent at $43, so I'm not sure why the payment is so high.

3.8 All Wheel Drive. $52,600
All Option Packages.
$0 down payment. $0 out of pocket.
10,000 miles per year.
$500/mo.

It is 57% on a 36/15. Not sure how 39 month term effects that, but the residual is set and signed off by Hyundai, so pretty hard for the dealer to screw with.

Dealer 1 says its .00096 and they can't move on it since its set by the bank.

If they are using leasing through Hyundai Motor Finance, that is BS. If it is an outside bank doing their leases, may be true.

Dealer 2 says" I don't go over money factors. I let my finance manager handle it because it doesn't effect payment"

Dealer 2 is either a comedian or woefully misinformed.

The Hyundai lease factors are national. The MF could be effected by individual credit however.

Anyone else seeing specials and prices drop a bit on the 3.8 AWD Ultimate models? I'm seeing adds for $47k and some change. Seems to be better than the $52k I was seeing a few weeks ago.

Is this a reasonable 36 month Lease Deal for a 3.8 L, RWD, Ultimate in San Jose, CA? 12K miles per year. Trying to close this by end of this week...

There are some lease specials going on...and I am getting a 3.8 L, RWD, Ultimate in San Jose, CA (off the lot; less than 50 miles) for Zero down, and $510/mo (incl taxes, etc). The sale price assumption on that is 48K (based on $50K MSRP, $4 K dealer discount, makes it $46K; then apply loyalty discount, lease discount, and add Acqusition fees that dealer charges plus Registration plus extra wear/tear warranty to get to $44K). MF 0.0006, with a $29K residual. Is that a reasonable lease deal?

Thank you for your guidance.

I am buying a 2015 3.8 AWD Ultimate with 5,000 miles on it for $42,000. Sticker is $52,800. Includes 2 years of maintenance, 3 years of Blue Link and 3 years of Satelite radio.

Color is black on black with tinted windows.

Haven’t seen a Black with Black interior yet must be nice. How about a picture? Price looks good with 2 years of service. 3 years of BL and XM is unusual also. Are you sure about the 3 years of BL and XM?

I was quoted a new Genesis V6 RWD Ultimate at net lease cost of $41,900.

What should be the lease money factor and residual for 36m/10K miles per year lease?

If I have top tier credit and live in Santa Clara county of CA, what should be the estimated monthly payment?

Thank you for the help.

Wow...that is an awesome deal!. I am in Santa Clara county too, but not getting net lease anywhere near $42K. I am more in the $44K range; and MG 0.00062.
Please do let me know what deal you make...and which dealer...I will PM you my #.
Thanks

I picked up a 3.8 sig/tech AWD (msrp 50k) for ~$420/mo 0 down, first payment due at signing at a New England dealer. Took a while to work it but I think this was a fair deal. If anyone has questions on the specifics, PM me.

Never thought I'd be driving a Hyundai, yet here I am. ;)

:welcome: aboard to the forum and congrats on the new ride. These are one fine automobiles. Far cry from when Hyundai first hit the road years ago. :D

2015 Ultimate RWD, 3.8 with wheel locks, 2 sets floors mats, trunk net and first aid kit (those already bundled in the price) Was 50,330, I bought 44,617 + 3% tax/ 98.00 tag after 1,000 rebate applied. I have very happy with the price and am not gonna sing the shoulda, coulda, woulda's over my deal.:)

The car I'm leasing is a 2015 RWD 3.8 with Signature package. I'm paying $37,000 plus about $2,000 for taxes, tag and dealer fee (which is $750). It looks like my monthly payment is about $425 which seems high. I should be getting the money factor via email tomorrow...
