If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Price Paid For 2015 Genesis

So where i can get the best deal on 2015 V8 Ultimate?
Thanks

Try emailing dealers in AZ. I know you could get $13k off last month. I'm not sure if they brought back the same deal/rebate or if it ended EOD Jan 4th.

So where i can get the best deal on 2015 V8 Ultimate?
Thanks

Not very many MY 2015 V8 Ultimates left on the West Coast, and 2016s not in line of sight; so dealers are likely to hold steady for now. Even the "demo" models are being asked for at $49K or so...which is crazy. Reason i know, i was trying to see if i can move to an Ultimate, and trade in my base v8...but makes no sense monetarily....so will wait for G90 in 2-3 yrs

Best

Just an FYI, majority of these LARGE rebates are regional. They are not available in every state....

I don't know if they are regional but my dealer told me after talking with the Hyundai Area Rep (as he didn't believe that I could get the price that I was quoting him $34.1k), that there are so many of the e-plan prices can be had for an area. For what it's worth I closed on 1/2/2016 and the dealer told me one more 'coupon' was available for the area which was me.

Ive been searching auto trader to see dealers who actually have any ibiza blue's in stock no matter if it was 3.8 or 5.0 sedans. These coupons were offered to me last Saturday when we were at the dealer after the test drive of the Genesis we did. I am glad I waited because you all have taught me so much about how Hyundai dealers work and prices I should be asking.
Question, what is a fair price for a Ultimate package Ibiza blue in either 3.8 or 5.0?
I was contacted by the dealer about 50 miles away today saying if we could make it in this weekend to check out his 3.8 sedan, he could guarantee a mind blowing deal cause its the end of the month. Just seeing if its worth doing it or waiting another month or two?
Thanks as always!

Thanks guys, we go to look at a 3.8 Ibiza blue tomorrow in lakeland, FL. I already warned the guy we know how long we can get a standard white one we test drove last weekend so it would have to blow us away price wise to even consider it at this point. With all of the money saved I can toss wheels, tint, and clear bra on the white car and still have money to save!

I got mine in gainsville fl. Good luck all dealers are a bunch of lying *******s. I was told "yeah don't worry about financing your credit is excellent" when I got there they wanted 3.99% interest, I almost walked out till they financed it themselves at a lower rate.

+1 similar experience with great credit, tried slipping a higher rate by me. Had to tell them I qualify for whatever the best rate is and that's not the best rate.

Yah buddy, I already know what my score is so I am in the top tier. I was told its 0% for 60 months or 1.9% for 72mo. Fortunately the local dealer is where we bought our 14 tucson limited from 2 years ago and they knew us and are super chill but unfortunately dont have any ibiza blues in stock right now. I would much rather deal with them so I am really not worried about trying to get one over on these dudes tomorrow. Since we still have 2 more months till the baby is here, I have time to play with! I already got a quote on a full clear bra and tint for the car. Ill keep you updated, either way, ill have one in the next few months if not!

To get the 0% APR or special finance rates, you forfeit the other available rebates. It's either available rebates or the super low APR.

You need to calculate the savings over the life of the loan but considering most of us never keep our vehicles for the life of the loan, you are better are utilizing the rebates and fighting for a slightly lower rate than quoted.

I appreciate that info, Late last night i did some research on the hyundai credit and they had a score of like 1.8 out of 5 stars! I was shocked at the horror stories, whenever I do sign on the dotted line, I will do it via a credit union, those stores are just scary! You guys might not keep your cars but in my family, we keep our cars for years and years. I still have a Honda I bought in 2006 and have no intention of selling it. My wife had her college Hyundai Accent since 2002 and only upgrade after a minor fender bender with someone totaled her car out.

For sure, make sure your preapproved at a credit union. Also they will try and sell you extended warranty that will not be manufacturers HPP and a spray on coat like paint protection. I wouldn't take either I remember someone gave me that advice before I got my genny on December 26. Don't be afraid to try and negotiate using email/phone. I did with like 4 different dealers before this one gave me close to what I expected 49k out the door.

Horror stories about Hyundai Motor Finance are from people who DONT pay their bills! I financed 4 cars through them with 0 issues!

I agree with those however these were ones like "they over drafted my account" Hyundai didn't pay off my trade and they sent me into collections, etc. My wife's Medical student loan via Sallie Mae has been a nightmare, they are always screwing her payments up saying she didn't pay enough and ended up moving the money to a separate account she has. We definitely don't want to deal with stuff like that again, yikes! I financed my Nissan 370z through my local credit union and havent heard a peep out of them, I pay double to triple and ended up paying it off 2 years early. You might pay a percent or two more but I definitely dont need another Sallie Mae story to deal with, those people are morons.

Thanks for the tips, I have purchased several cars now and am used to the drill. I remember the whole warranty deal when I bought my 370z but didnt take it as I knew it was just extra money going out not needed. I have been using strictly email until I actually went to the dealer tonight in the next city over. They had a left over '15 3.8 awd in Ibiza blue but didnt seem to want to really negotiate much. After reading the forums here I realized what I should be paying and I said thanks but we need more time to think about it and left. I knew what I could pay for a base white 3.8 and just couldnt justify 12k more for the ultimate just to get the blue I liked. Ah well, no rush, I'm here to get a good deal! Thankfully these forums are here to help:grouphug:

I leased a new 2015 3.8 RWD Ultimate Ibiza Blue/Ivory today (1/30/2016) near Austin, TX. The Ultimate/Ibiza Blue/Ivory was my "perfect" combo.

List price is $50,200 (based on the sticker, including freight/handling, mud guards, wheel locks and cargo tray).

I put $2,500 down, and pay $428/month for 35 months (36 month lease, first payment is included in the $2,500).

I have perfect credit (815+) and qualified for a number of discounts (competitive owner, and a bunch more), Hyundai is paying the bulk of the sales tax and I got a number of coupons from the dealership.

Overall, my new lease is less than what I paid for my current lease on a $42,000 car. Over the 3 years I will lease the car I pay a total of $17,480 or about 35% of the list price.

I only drove the car for about 60 miles so far, but I am enjoying it very much so far. Lots of things to learn still, some minor things I find not ideal (probably personal preference), but overall an unbeatable value. I didn't actually need a new vehicle for a few more weeks until the current lease is over, but for the deal I was offered it's OK to have an extra car for a few weeks.
