If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. Price Paid For 2015 Genesis

Sweet! Is that in the Chicago Area? Which dealer?

Napleton's Valley in Aurora :)

I just went there today for an oil chance in my Rspec.... bam! got myself a new car (again) :D

dareckibmw nice choice!

Thanks guys! ;)

Pricing on 2015 leftovers is varying widely based on availability of excess inventory. In san jose, at capital hyundai, they have one 2015 v8 left, and it's about 44k (advt at 47k) for 52k MSRP. So, IMHO, anything below 39k for new or demo is a steal.

Do you think I can get 2016 Gen 3.8 RWD Ultimate for $38K-$39K before tax in Bay Area?

Pulled the trigger today on a Black/Tan 2015 5.0 with 500 miles. $38,445 before TT&L which included Dealer add-ons (nice window tint, pin striping, third brake light flasher, nitrogen in tires, etc. that they try to add $3500 to the sticker for).

A dealer about 45 minutes away had some 2015s, all but one were the 5.0 which I had not had the chance to drive before (local shop only had a few 2016s). Drove it. Appreciated the smooth quiet power of the V8 and, of course all of the wonderful features this car offers. I only put about 8K miles/year on my cars, so fuel economy (or lack thereof) isn't a big deciding factor. Told the dealer that I had another 8 weeks before I'm due to turn in my '13 Altima SL at lease end so I'd only consider buying today if it was a superb, too good to pass up deal. It was. Driving the Genesis home, about half being on a 75mph interstate was a joy. Averaged 25.4mpg at that speed. I'm really diggin this most excellent of cars. The wife loves it too.

The only thing I plan to change is the H badge on the back to those lovely wings.

$52,960 sticker price on a '15 AWD with all the option packages. Got it for $40,496. Purchased on January 5, 2016. Found a dealer with 13 2015's on the lot as the 2016's were rolling out and made a hell of a deal.

Hey Folks, looking to close a deal on a 5.0 Ultimate with 2700 miles... US$40,600 before TTL. Thoughts? Thanks!

If that's a dealer demo so it's titled new to you with warranties starting now, that's consistent with E-Plan (Hyundai corp employees) certificate pricing.

It appears that Hyundai is now handing those E-Plan certificates and PINs out to dealers who ask for them (takes just a few minutes online) to get the '15s moving. Some dealers are either more aware of it than others or perhaps just more willing to use it to clear inventory. Some dealers in TX are advertising their 15's that way. I got E-Plan price ($38,445) on my $52,550 MSRP 2015 5.0, but I was the one who had to bring up the subject saying that I could easily get the same car elsewhere for that price. Ask them to show you the certificate and PIN. My dealer did.

Like most of the other car makers who use such plans, I have reason to believe that, once the E-Plan Certificate+PIN is in play for your deal, it becomes a set non-negotiable discounted (in this case, deeply discounted by Hyundai, not the dealer) price on the particular model/trim. They cannot charge any more (even for dealer add-ons already on the car like tint and pinstriping - mine that the dealer initially wanted to charge $3500 extra for became free:D), but you cannot get it for less. The dealer/salesperson get a small fee from Hyundai for handling the transaction.

If used then it is way too high.

+1.

Looking to close the deal today for a '15 3.8 tech white/black basically 39k otd with taxes included. Kinda excited.

Sounds like a good price, assuming it's an AWD. For a RWD you'd have to have some insanely high taxes and fees to make that sound reasonable.

it was a RWD NYS taxes and dmv fees account for 3587.
Car and Processing fee was 35.6

Vehicle MSRP $46,705
Discount $11,397
Vehicle Sales Price $35,308
Processing Fee $299
NY MVA Fees $457.50
NY/Local Taxes $3,133.59

I don't think this is a good deal. if it's $33K (Vehicle Sales Price), this is a deal.
