If this "CAI" is nothing more than another tube with a huge filter stuck on the end of it, that is NOT a true CAI. Plus most of these things I see are in the $200-$500 range which is horse crap.
I can hardly wait to see what this turns out to be..... I'd be willing to be it's the SOT.... blah blah blah

id be happy if it comes with a manufactured "box" separator like some of the other aftermarket big boys. Not one made of a garbage can

I've contacted R2C and am waiting to hear back from them.

Otherwise, I believe this one comes with a separate box to act as a heat shield.

Hey all, So here are the updates I dragged out of our purchasing people this week, which I can say I am not thrilled with. Our system is still on the order list at the manufacturing facilities we have been using nut is not yet finished up. The facility had lost the funds we paid for tubes we had previously paid and stopped production without alerting us. This had now been sorted out but we are not sure if we're going to continue using this company which can result in our tubes being further delayed. I have been driving the higher-ups in the company nuts with my constant asking about production timelines and receiving dates for our system as I know many of you have been waiting and following this project for ages, as well as it kills me working with all these intakes for other carts everyday and still not having one on my car over a year after I bought it.

That's not even a CAI that's an AI.

John, if you're reading this lets get this intake project moving.
Jay at SFR (Seouful Racing) is going to be hopefully tuning both a 4.6 and a 5.0L RSpec very soon and we'd love to have your CAI along for the ride.

Using a skyline as a test car isn't a good test. It already had a stock CAI. You aren't going to see much of a difference.
