I had to bring in my 2011 4.6 for a recent service. I think they listened to my original complaint. My first visit to Advantage Hyundai was a real disappointment. The service adviser basically blew me off with my issues. My last 2 visits to the dealership were the total opposite. One visit, my check engine light came on, it was an 02 sensor. The part was on back order, they took a unit from a new car and installed it. The next visit was to replace a intermittent issue with the audio system. No questions asked, it was replaced and the service adviser knew about the seat heating issue and they installed the springs and resolved the problem. I hope this continues...
 
Jenkins Hyndai of Ocala Florida. 0!!! Salesman repugnant! Butted in on less experienced sales person who I was speaking with, controlled our discussion and was actually insulting as I attempted to negoiate a price of a car. BTW,The most expensive one Hyundia sells. (Window sticker $74,000.00 plus!)(their invoice $61,000.) Comments like; your car is worth $35,000 but I'll give you $22,000 because you don't like the "stiff ride." Parting words were: enjoy your poor riding car when you leave. Four years ago I attempted to purchase my 2009 V8 Genesis with tech package, from them, different sales person but with the same haughty, condescending attitude, ... similiar results. Saved over $5000.00 by going to Orlando. Service has been OK (7) but had to get their attention first. Service Manager and I are on a first name basis.

Orlando Hyundai is where I took my Equus for a "quick wash" after a 1200 mile drive. No appointment, didn't know me from Adam. The "quick wash" took 45 minutes because they showroom detailed it for me at no charge. Great service, especially for a non-customer they'd never see again.

Parts Dept. that took aver a month to get and ship a cargo mat
had to call Hyundai and ask for help
thank goodness I won't be taking the car to this dealer for service.

other than that, car is fine!

9 Sales/9 Service for Korum Hyundai in Puyallup Washington.

No pressure sales for two vehicles I purchased from them. A 2008 Sonata back in 07, and an 11 Genny in August. Traded my 08 Sonata for the Genny. Couldn't pass up the end of the year clearance deal on the Genny. :D

Only one small complaint and that is both cars when purchased had noticeable scratches on the finish which cannot be removed by just buffing out. Of course I find this out AFTER I get the cars home.

Service is pretty good with complimentary car washes and friendly service staff. Great showroom and good coffee. Very clean.

I am also proactive in helping them solve issues with my Genny by printing any info from this forum related to our cars and offering it to their service department for review.

No real dissatisfaction so far.

Lehman Hyundai/ Suburu, North Miami, FL, based on my buying experience, 10. I have not needed service yet, so I cannot give a rating on that.
 
OK, I visited three dealerships before I bought mine so I'll do my best and give an explination on them all.

1. Escindido Ford/Hyundai. Escindido, Ca. I'll give the sales man a 7. This was the first time I saw a Genesis R Spec. Very knowledgable guy. Frindley atmsphere. Seemed to be a straight shooter which I like.

2. Ladin Hyundai, Thousand Oaks, Ca. My first time spending some time with a salesman and looking at the car. I'll give them a 2 as the guy was a flake and hard to find the couple of times I was there or calling them. Even though he came recomended from a coworker who bought his car from them, I didn't go back.

3. Oxnard Hyundai, Oxnard, Ca. I'll give it a 9. Great dealer. No hassels. Even the finance guy didn't over push anything when doing the doc's. Salesman and sales manager worked well with me. They even gave me a break and stuck with our original agreement even after I had screwed up on what I thought was the intreset rate of my credit union. Payments stayed the same as they cut some off the total price of the deal when we found out my interest rate was a point higher.
I've only been to the service department once so far but like them as well. They seem very knowledgable about the car as well. Nothing like the Pontiac dealership I bought my last car at. I'd highly recomend them.

I would rate them a 3 The service department loves to write " was not able to verify customers complaint at this time"
They also like ""No problem found"

This means that you have to take the car in a second time or more to get anything fixed.

It is a shame because the Sales Department is great to work with.

Bought an R Spec from them yesterday - was at the dealership less than 3 hours!!!

Great staff, friendly, courteous, and best of all... REASONABLE. Hoping my local dealer is this nice when I go in for service, or I may just have to drive an hour and see these guys...

The only negative about them... is they didn't give me my R Spec front mats by mistake (I got the regular Genesis ones instead). I wrote the sales guy on Sunday and he responded Sunday that he was gonna check with the parts dept. He did, and they had them there. Honest mistake.

He said to bring him the regular mats and he'll give me the R Spec ones. Problem is... this dealership is an hour away!

That's an inconvenience I could've dealt without... I asked him if I could swap here at my local dealership, and haven't heard back. We'll see what happens.

They really went out of their way to accommodate me in my purchase of an Equus 2012 with 95000 miles on it.
 
I would give Braman Hyundai Miami a 10. Had to take back my G80 due to vibration in the steering wheel when doing 60+mph. I figured the front tires needed balancing. They ended up replacing all 4 with new ones. Did 90+ since getting it back, vibration free. No complaints.

Sales 4...……………..but still better than Route 46 Hyundai in Hackettstown....Now that's is a story.
 
Larry H Miller Hyundai (Genesis authorized dealer) - Albuquerque, New Mexico

Roof trim was loose, clip wasn't clipped in. Tech just taped it down, crooked too. Had to take it back to have them 'correctly' install it. Hyundai corporate shows they installed a new trim piece. It doesn't look new, I think they just billed corporate.
Reverse camera is fuzzy. Took it in to replace under warranty. They replaced it (again, questionable) and broke my trunk auto close button and scratched my paint. Had to return for them to replace the button and do a really bad job of paint penning the scratch. Camera is still fuzzy, they claim it's a head unit issue and will not replace it.

Larry H Miller Southwest Hyundai - Albuquerque, New Mexico

Great service department but is not a Genesis authorized dealership. Could not get their warranty person to authorize the above repairs because my car is a Genesis. (It's a 2015 HYUNDAI Genesis) Funny that the top dealership listed here IS a Genesis dealership but can't stop screwing up repairs. To the Genesis dealership, they consider my car a Hyundai and will not offer me loaners or any other services. It is still a Hyundai dealership through and through.
The Southwest dealership DID warranty replace my seatback due to a leading side bolster.... ?? What? Is my car a Hyundai or a Genesis regarding warranty, dammit??

Unfortunately, these are the only two dealers in my city. Still have rear diff hum to address and a droning from my A/C.
Wish I had another option but the next dealership is 1 1/2 hours away and I'm not sure if they're Genesis certified.
