  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Roll call: who has the most mileage on the OD? What is your mileage?

2013 RSpec sedan. Purchased 03/2013.

Mileage 5,976 Guess I win the award for lowest mileage.

My 2012 base just passed this major milestone a few months ago (actually it was in January), today it is 92K or 93K or so:

Woot woot. Amazing too..

Have an '09 4.6 w/tech pkg. Second owner. Purchased it in March, 2011 with 53K miles. It just rolled 165K this weekend. Runs great! Only problem it has had was the well documented ABS brake fluid corrosion disaster.

Looking forward to finding an awesome 2015 5.0 in a few months.

My '13 has a measly 10,500 miles on it, purchased in April 2014. I guess I don't drive enough.

So far, you are at the top of the mileage heap reported. You one of those brake pedal to the floor posts a couple years ago? Appears like the fluid change stopped reports of this happening.. Have not seen any in some time..

2012 rspec 62k miles, purchased at 56k. Drives like a dream, plan on keeping it forever. My last vehicle 07 grand prix has 188k and counting.

Will be fun to hear the report years in the future you hit 150k+. I imagine, assuming the car stays reliable, I will keep the 2012 and hit we'll past the 1.5 century mark.

Based on your driving habits, on track to hit 170k this month?

I won't be the winner here. Next month will be six years since I purchased my 2009 3.8 Premium. As of today I have 24,465 miles on the odometer. Now age 67, the Genesis will likely outlive me.

I'm 71 with 40K on my 2010. I have no plans to replace it, so mine will also likely outlive me.

Let's see.. In 5 years, 40k. You will live to 81 and have 120k by then.. 👏🏻👏🏻🍸 By 91 240k miles at the rate you are going.. You can get there. 😉. Seen 87 year old with 250k or so on a 93 Crown Vic owned since new..

2010 bought CPO in 2012 with 19k, sitting at 47,350 as of today.

Actually, my mileage will be less than you calculate - In the first 3 years of ownership I put on about 10K per year. Now that I'm retired I'm driving much less. But you're right - the 2010 will probably be in service longer than I will.

I can't recall if I posted about it but, yes, I had the "pedal to the floor" problem. At the time, I couldn't get any help from Hyundai. I replaced the brake booster and the master cylinder (twice). The problem persisted. I narrowed it down to the ABS unit after reading several posts about it. I got very lucky and found an ABS unit from a totaled Genesis online. I think I paid ~$500 for it. Fortunately, all the numbers matched. I plugged it in, bled the brakes and the problem was solved!

Ironically, a few months later I received a recall letter from Hyundai acknowledging the problem.

If not, I'll get close! I'll likely roll 200K by end of 2015.

Does anyone know if it's possible to import a 5.0 AWD Genesis from Canada? That's the car I really want.

I don't know why not. Go to Canada and buy one and bring it home. It may be a lot of paperwork and Duty fees etc , but Its possible.

200k by end of 2015.. That will be cool distinction. Based on your creativity with the ABS, bet you can figure out how to bring back a AWD 5.0. Other than the speedo running in KMH, would be the same?
