Second guessing my color choice

I test drove an Siberian Ice colored 3.3 which was nice, but I prefer a metallic. I ordered a Santiago Silver. Now I'm wondering if I made the right choice. Maybe I should have gone with a Himalayan Grey.

Is the Santiago the color with metallic pieces in it?

Flat grey is a nice color on sporty cars such as the Porsche 911 (Fashion Grey, which is very close to Siberian Ice) or on Audis (Nardo Grey, which is a bit darker) and it definitely looks great on a G70 (and it is very unique, also). My favorite colors on the G70 Sport:

1. Mallorca Blue
2. Casablanca White
3. Himalayan Grey
4. Siberian Ice

Color is a personal thing -- get what you like!

I like silver and was thinking the dark chrome would accent it well. I'm older and don't want a lot of attention so I didn't go Mallorca Blue (had a blue WRX and liked it), red is nice, but again too flashy for me. I already have one dark grey metallic vehicle in the garage and didn't want another so I chose silver. I'm sure that I will really like it.

I had the same dilemma. For me it came down to the Havana Red, Mallorca Blue and Himalayan Grey. I wanted something a bit brighter as all I've really ever owned are black vehicles, so I went blue. I almost switched it to the red last week but decided to go with my first instincts. The Genesis colors all look good so I don't think you can go wrong with any of them!

Just based on this site I think there are too many Himalayan Grey's (me being one of them) so I would go for the Santiago Silver.

I personally really like silver because of how low maintenance it is. I might have gone that way but my Jeep is a light silver and my wife already says I am too boring (she wanted me to get the red or blue). But I should have taken a picture of the G70 and the Jeep this morning because they were both washed on the same day and then driven through the rain yesterday and the Jeep you can barely tell is dirty and the G70 definitely needs a wash.

Definitely a lot of nice color choices with this car.

if the OP is second guessing his choice, why not simply pass on the car once it's in and order a different one that meets his needs/wants? assuming he went with a pre-order deposit, there is no obligation to follow through if the car is not to his liking. that's the rub for Genesis with the sales model they have. they'll end up with some orphaned units but that shouldn't be a problem and will just add to the regional inventory pool.

1. Mallorca Blue by a longshot
2. Himalayan Grey

If you want to be unique in the land of G70s, definitely Silver (ironically) or Siberian Ice would be great picks.

I'm surprised there is not more talk of nurburg green. The pictures posted of it on here really appealed to me and it works well with the sport only trim and wheels.

No sport trim on this one, but the Nurburg Green is an interesting color.
