  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

^ Looks great, really digging that red color!

Thanks WHYTE50H, I couldn't find one in California with all the options in that color I wanted so I had to get it from Arizona.
But it was worth it.

Car at a strip mall doesn't generally make for an impressive pic, but I was happy with this one. And still happy as can be with the car itself.

Sure are a lot of cars 'backed' into the parking spaces. Is that the norm in Canada? Car looks great by the way.

^^^ Cheers. I wouldn't say it's the general norm (though on this day it sure was - lol), but it is the norm for me. Only time I don't back in is when I'm parked at the golf course.

New Genesis owner. I have only had her a week. I just love that blue! This pic is just after I had her hand washed.

Thinking about maybe replacing the wheels as my first mod.

Congratulations on the new ride. I agree about the Montecito Blue. Wanted a darker color, but not black. Hard to tell from your pic, but it looks like you may have the gray interior as well. I like the gray, but was surprised with the brown dashboard.

My wife walked up behind me and caught me browsing and commented on my car picture: "Wow that's a really good photo of your car!" So I thought I'd post it. Yes, it's the one in my sig, but I still think the photo looks like it could be in the brochure. Really sucks that I'm at 61K miles and am 60 percent of the way through ownership of this thing. Going to hate selling/trading in 1.5-2 years.

What stands out for me is it's clearly been raining, yet the car is clean ( no road spray ), and no raindrops on the windows or anywhere on the car that can be seen. Nice!

Yeah believe it or not that's not by design. That's taken at the Woodlands near Houston, and for some reason the Spring/Woodlands area gets some crazy weather. I think it wasn't raining (like at all) in Montgomery and by the time I got to The Woodlands the rain had stopped. But due to the high pedestrian traffic area, I was going slow enough to not get any spray.

Beautiful ride, I would just buy it at the end of the lease. I bought my car and my wife and I love it, it has been one of the best cars we have owned so far.

Here's two white girls and a redhead. Sorry for the crappy pic.

Thanks... I have been loving it. The blue color was the perfect color for me. I have only ever owned silver cars and this color made me change my mind.

The brown dash kinda surprised me also, but I think I understand it though. Seems like they were trying to flow from the brown dash to the dark wood grain. Still looks great!!

Thanks!! Unfortunately I can't lease cars; I put too much mileage on them to make it economical. The 100K mileage limit is self-imposed to avoid ever having to fork out $$$$ for major repairs.

The KDM headlights look gorgeous. Unfortunately they've been a pain-in-the-ass. Between the hundreds of dollars total I spent trying to get them installed and working normally, and by normally that means that the daytime running lights operate nominally with the headlights in auto mode (and not flicker amber, which they do), to the adapter harness that the original vendor provided (that they no longer sell) shorting out and my high-beams not working all the time, if I had to give advice on this mod, I'd say don't do it unless you've got automotive electrician levels of vehicle knowledge and have access to the KDM wiring diagram (which I have never been able to obtain). But in answer to your question, I originally paid ~$2100 for the lights (though now I think they're running in the $1700 range). I bought them because I thought they were plug-and-play, and the original person who posted the photos on the car didn't mention the flickering problems.

Got the rest of the sides and rear on, just in time for nasty weather.
