  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Share Photos of Your 2015 Genesis Here.

Here's my 2015 Genesis in Pamplona Red before I drove it off the showroom floor last week:

Nice! Pamplona Red and Manhattan Brown are the two colors I see the least of.

Never seen the Manhattan Brown in the flesh. But the pics posted here sure look good. I've seen a Pamplona Red here in Gtown, but it's always going the opposite direction in traffic. So it's a quick head turn & gone. Also looks mighty good.

I've only seen Manhattan Brown at the dealership. Before I bought my DH I was roaming around the lot at North Freeway Hyundai and at the time they had quite a selection on hand. I think they had every color represented. I had bought two previous Genesis models from them, but ironically I spent 30 minutes one Saturday afternoon looking at window stickers and seeing the colors in the sunlight and not a single salesperson came out to speak with me (despite my pulling up in my beautiful 5.0 BH).

Got bigger pictures-

Scottish Guy,
Nice series of pictures. Agree with Aquineas, it's a bit odd seeing the right hand drive. Guess whatever you're used to seeing... Have a couple questions, What is that thing on the outside of the dash near the glove box? Looks like something key operated. No such feature on my car. Also, are those the wheels that came on the car? Your "boot" says it's a 3.8, but those wheels look like what are standard on the 5.0 over here.

Hi Tuckerdog 1,
The switch you mentioned on the glovebox is to disable the passenger airbags
for occupants who may have an increased risk of airbag injury due to age, size or medical condition.

The wheels are 19 inch as standard on the European model.

In Europe Hyundai only market one Genesis model , no packages
or trim levels, no 5 lt engine or AWD, just the 3.8lt rear wheel drive with
all the gizmos.

Interesting. If you want the car, this is what you get. Take it or leave it. At least you get to choose colors.

Hi guys, I have gotten my G80 since June and in love with it ever since!
List of what I did:
  • Roof wrapped in 3M glossy black (car came with body color roof)
  • Clear bra in the front
  • All windows tinted to legal limit
  • Side body molding with chrome strip
  • Opposite body color trunk lip
  • Rear chrome strip installed with matching license plate frame
  • Wheels swapped to R10 Machined w/Black Accent
  • Brake calipers painted red with custom Genesis decals
  • Ceramic coating the entire car

(Some interior mods weren't listed here)
And here is the final results! I ran out of stuff to do with this baby.

Looks very sharp. Love the wheels

Looks good, very clean. I'm curious about the ceramic coating. I guess you won't know for sure how well it holds up until a year or so goes by.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
I actually used the cheapo 9H Mr.Fix ($10 from ebay). I will post update on the status of the coating. Though it seems to work very well. I'm fixing to put some more coats on it since its so cheap.

This thing loves winter.

Alankevis, can you possibly post a shot that shows more of the roof? Curious about how that looks! Thanks!

@alankevis, clean car, that chrome side molding looks so out of place on the doors.

Here's a shot of my 2015 Genesis. Looking forward to learning this car and becoming a part of the forum!

You'll enjoy it. Looks like the one I traded in October. Mine had 38,000 trouble free miles on it.

Here is a photo of my 2015 Genesis 5.0 in Caspian black; acquired Sept 2017. Just hit 20k miles and have throughly enjoyed this vehicle. Like other Gen owners, I've often asked what type of vehicle it is.
