  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Share Photos of Your 2015 Genesis Here.

My fear is if I put it in under warranty they will damage or mark the trim during removal and replacement.

So take a photo of the trim before service. If they damage it they are responsible for fixing/replacing it. Check it as soon as you get back in the car.

Hi all, JKG in Los Angeles here, just joined the club today, picked up this nice 2015 Genesis 2G!
I've been car-hunting lately, and a friend of mine turned me on to their existence last week when I checked out his 2018 G80...now THAT Lexicon system is probably the best I have ever heard in ANY car, but I couldn't afford the $45K. Still blew my mind though, just incredible sound.
But all weekend I searched online and finally found my baby, went down today to check her out and ultimately, take her home. :)
It's a 2015 where the Lexicon system is almost as good as the 2018, true there's not as quite as much bass and not as much menu diving, and a few other stage/surround features are missing, but it still sounds amazing and it turns out the car has many other incredible high-tech tricks up it's sleeve I didn't even know about (HUD display, automatic braking and auto acceleration, voice everything, nav, backup cam, massive clamshell sunroof, sensors galore, parking assist, etc etc.)
I should mention that for the last 12 years I have been driving an 2004 Lexus RX-330, so getting this new Genesis with all the mod cons has been like suddenly dropping into a wormhole to some far-flung science-fiction future! :D
I never thought I would buy a car based off its sound system, but in the long run that seems to have been a wise choice, for me anyway.

Nice pics JKG ( thanks ). What color is the interior? Can't really tell from your interior pic.
Oh yea, congratulations. We've had our 2015 just over a year and still love it.
Can't tell from the pic of the rear of your car if the Hyundai "H" is still there, or has been replaced with the wing. If the "H" is still there and you want the wing, here is a link how to do it. Very good instructions. Took me about 45 minutes. Should have been less time, but when I removed my "H", most of the adhesive stayed on the car instead of the "H". So took a bit longer to clean that up.

Thanks TD for the kind words! The interior is black on black. Everything was badged as Genesis when I got the car yesterday so no rebadging needed fortunately! :-) but thanks anyway. My next task is actually going to be installing an all-in-one under-seat amp/subwoofer tomorrow, so wish me luck!

Hello everyone,
Got my 2015 Genesis Ultimate back in Feb, added 20% tint, ARK GT-S springs and OEM LED foglight(both installed today), Velgen VMB6 20inch wheels in gunmetal. The fronts do rub but going to get it rolled tomorrow and hopefully that will take care of it.

Tchan1982. Looks good my man how you set your foglights up and led drl to be brighter.
Thanks youngforever, I bought the fogs from ebay, think seller was in korea, it included all the wires, relay and switch. The installer has it hooked up to the parking lights or else he would had to drill a hole in dash for the switch. Not sure if its brighter or just how the pic came out at night.

Thanks BlancaGenny, unfortunately i wasnt able to roll my fenders cause the paint started to crack where they are bending it, gonna have to switch tires to conti and run 245s in the front to see if that helps since one member on here Fedtime has same setup and he mention no rubbing at all. If tire s dont work then will have to go with GT-F springs.

You mind supplying the link of where you purchased the fog lights from

Thank you and they still didn't supply a manual with tbese I wonder why dont they included instruction with these

It includes a diagram on how to wire the lights.

Bet does it stay at full brightness or does it dim when the headlights are on. How long did the installation take roughly and I just don't understand why hyundai only included these on the 5.0 smh don't make no sense

Pretty sure its full brightness not dimmable, the pic where its just the fogs my car is off with the lights turn on, it comes on when my car is on with headlights are on or the healight led strip is on. Think it took them less than 2 hrs, they installed springs too so my car was there from 930 to 3.

I appreciate you answering all of my questions. You mind supplying some more pictures
