  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Spyshots of 2021 G70 facelift

You see the difference between the two is that one has tiny hole the other has big holes.
Well sure. But you said "...while on the current model you don’t see them at all." :)

So just making sure that folks don't think that the current generation doesn't have any. As we all know...they are functional...and so many uninformed reviewers claim that they are fake.

My bad I made a mistake. Haven’t seen a G70 close up in awhile.

Looks like a typical slanted vent. No more boomerang. Looks more aggressive and should help counter the incorrect notion that they're not functional. Should be easier to see that they're functional. I like it but that's about it from what I can see. Dont really like the new lights or grille.

I don't think I would like it, it's huge compared to the actual boomerang. It is almost the same size as the backside of the front fender.

Bigger vent = more heat extraction from the new, more powerful engine!

Kinda reminds me of the kia stinger vent...

Happens to me all the time. I buy a car and a new version is released soon after. I thought I was safe this time since the G70 is brand new. Ugh, cant believe they're already going to significantly update the car so soon. BMWs stay the same for 8 years or so before major updates. Oh well... Congrats to all of us who didnt wait, we will soon have antiquated, underpowered models.

Just lease as many of us do. Three years and voila, you get a new car with all the bells and whistles!

I leased once... doesnt work for me. I like to modify my cars and I also exceed the lease mileage. :-/

I'm in the process of lowering my car and changing the wheels as I type.

Oh well, it is what it is. There are so few G70s on the road where I live, nobody will even notice the difference in versions. I've only seen 2 other G70s on the road and I drive 100 miles per day. Lol

Then don't worry my friend, modify your car to your liking (that's something I can't do even though I would love to) drive it and enjoy it. Don't forget posting pictures of your mods!

Is it confirmed that the new G80 will have the same tail lamp design as the G90? I hope so.

Probably... tail light bars are all the rage right now. Kinda funny how manufacturers jump on design fad bandwagons.

Absolutely love the look since first seeing it on a 1988 Buick Reatta.....Ugh, dating myself.

I hope you never buy a cell phone!

The new G90 and upcoming G80 will have slightly different tail lights. The G90 has small cross hatching in a bar of light, whereas the G80 will have the clear straight lines kinda like what Audi does for their lights. I can't recall if the spy shots have horizontal lines go straight through the entire rear of the car like the G90 or if they stop at the quarters like the GV80 concept.

Springs are installed, my Moya spoiler is waiting for warm weather again, and one side has the wheels on... one wheel had to go back to the shop due to shipping damage unfortunately. Will post pics in the appropriate threads once I finally get all the wheels on. Its stuck in the garage anyway due to non stop crappy winter weather.
