  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

SPYSHOTS: The next generation of the Genesis G80 is here

Do we expect the sport to have that carbon fibre look trim in the interior? Pretty sure the current one has no wood in it right?
Correct. But who knows what to expect when we don't know anything about a Sport version, or even when/if it may show up?

Damn, that steering wheel is sexy. Much better than the new G80 and GV80 ones. The copper thread shows that they're continuing the copper accent theme, which I love. It was always weird that they had copper on the G80 Sport and the Essentia but it basically disappeared after that.

From the picture, it looks like on the tunnel lid below the AC controls, where the wood trim would be, is replaced with a brushed metal look. Or that could be a protective sticker. But it hints that just because carbon fiber is on the steering wheel doesn't mean they'll replace everything with CF.

G80 Sport found in a garage:

Red seats, 20 inch wheels. I'm surprised they didn't move up to 21's since the wheels have enough tire size to scale one up.

I'm also starting to question whether this really will have a more powerful version of the 3.5TT, or just be an appearance package like the GV70 Sport.

Here's the back. Looks like it'll have a deployable spoiler like A7 and AMG GT 4-Door.

I'm seeing some Korean posters mention 405 HP as the output, but there's no verifiable source for that information.

The spoiler could be a camo attachment to deceive people from the silhouette. You see these often with the rears of SUVs in particular; I think the GV60 EV spyshots have something like that. I wish this had twin exhausts :(.

A little dissapointed, front is not that sporty compared to the '20 G80 sport and why are they using the same exhaust as the regular G80? In terms of appearance, I'm underwhelm

Looks like they're taking the same page from the Germans (like BMW M-Sport) where it's nothing more than a front and rear bumper change and some larger brakes and tauter suspension. That it has the same exhaust is also leading me to believe that there is no significant bump in HP from the 3.5TT and that was nothing more than a rumor. Basically it's just a cosmetic package, unlike the old G80 Sport with had quite a few mechanical differences with the standard G80.

No black chrome or blacked out trim either, though it's too early to judge since this isn't the final model.
