Mike, in all fairness, it is really unlikely that someone would have removed all of the suspension pieces from your 2010 and replaced them with components from a 2009. As you have probably noticed, the topic of suspension harshness is a big topic here and with folks sitting on either side of the isle. While Hyundai claims to have made significant changes to the Genesis suspension for 2010, in my own personal experience, I personally did not notice any differences between the ride of a brand new 2009 and the ride of a brand new 2010 when driven back to back. Maybe I am just not as sensitive to the suspension "bouncyness" as others here. The Genesis is firm to be sure, but, to the seat of my pants, it is no "bouncier" than a BMW 550i (in fact, there have been similar reviews about the 550i being too stiff when compared to the cossetting ride of other Lux cars.) I think that everyone here has a right to voice their concerns, issues, Mother's Maiden names, Visa Card numbers, or whatever else they would care to share. The bottom line is that perhaps there is a fix to make the care respond to your liking, perhaps not. I certainly hope that the "bouncyness" you are experiencing is just the heightened sensitivity that many feel with new cars, and, that once that settles down you will be happy with your purchase. Maybe you need to take a couple exit ramps at double the posted speed to see the benefit of that tight suspension.
