WOW Unbelievable. To be on Ward's Auto 10 Best engine list is EXTREMELY difficult. The judges are really, really picky about which engines they nominate. Congrats to Hyundai for making an incredible engine and a slam dunk win!!

i thought the Equus had a V8??

I believe the V8 in Equus was a third party design. The V8 in the Genesis is the first inhouse design.

The Equus was mainly a Mitsubishi V8 that was modified by Hyundai. This Hyundai's first In-house design.
