If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

We Brought the Korean version of Full LED HID lights

I guess i need to state some facts

1. It is plug n but no play LOL. when you plug it in to the US models, even the US g80sport isn't plug n play. I know from experience being I am in Miami florida. When you plug in the Korean version or the US version of the g80 sport everything plugs in but not everything works. Your low beams will work but not your High beams. You won't get the sequential turn signal. Now there is an wire harness that you can buy from korea that will come with a xtra power power that must be connected to get the High beams to work. I have the G80 sport headlights on my US model and now everything works as far as the LED part. I hope that clears everything up

Yup the red wire I see by itself is to be able to use our high beams, if not wired in, your high beams don’t work. Also when you turn on your ti

I don't think you finished your message...

Lol I meant to say, when you turn on your turn signals you lose the sequential feature, but on th g80sport u have it.

He turned the high beams on and was electrocuted.
:roflmao:

Not funny, naw actually it was, but it was perfectly timed... Well played sir.

Hey!
Thanks for pitching in about these lights for last few months. I wanted to get some quick clarification as I am thinking about buying a pair.
1. Do the lights fit without physical mods?
2. When plugged in using the Korean wiring harness; the low beam, high beams, and DRL function work correctly when NOT on auto?
3. The LED turn signal works with the harness, however it does not have its sequential feature?
4. Lastly, since these lights are adaptive, are there issues with the lights getting out of alignment??

Thanks!!!
Kolme

So I purchased the lights and put a relay between the DRL and Turn Signal with a 3333μF capacitor across power and ground. I also have a modified wire harness that repinned the power and grounds to high beam, and other functions to the various related LED pins. I haven't finished this mod yet, been so busy at work and reserves but I will eventually have a finished product.

Hello CarlitoGR,
Any update for your mod? I'm also interested to install those LED headlights on 2015 Gen. Could you please share a wiring diagram?
I found an adapter in Korea and seller told me that it should work for converting 13 pin (Bixenon) to 14 (LED). But this adapter is looks similar to yours which you bought from sharkracing.com.

Yeah, CarlitoGR already fixed those issues.

Interested in a finished version as well.
