Just now... OMG.... I'm a relatively new R-Spec owner and I just learned something about my new car. It's a freakin' BEAST!! So im just heading home from an evening of good food and drinks -out on the town... I'm near home now on this short stretch of road from a major road leading to my subdivision. Knowing I've never seen LE positioned to strike in the area, I figure I'll test out my very first tank refill of premium. I put the floor-hinged pedal to the firewall and I'm sent deep back into my seat. UNREAL. Mind you, this is about a quarter mile I'm dealing with before I need to make a 90 degree turn into my subdivision. THe car effortlessly reaches 90 mph! I could not believe it.... I barely made the turn onto my street. The Conti's complained a bit as we slowed so hard, but G#d D@amn... so unreal. I suppose in all my experiences with owning high performance cars before, I've never owned one like my Genesis; 429HP is truly a thing of beauty, and to behold. I think I might need to find a place (track) where I can really experience this car without fear of LE retribution. That's what I did with my Genesis tnight.
Ordered a dead pedal prosthesis.
Drinks + 429 = RIP
Damn, Ernie... you're a total http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f68VXKMZT1Q buzz kill![]()
You need to use a dremel tool to remove those two posts before affixing the wing to the hood. Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but will try. I have the front, rear wing emblems I need to install. The front assembly has two clips but do not believe there are any holes for them on the front hood. Can someone tell me how they did it when they rebadged their Genesis Sedan on the front of their car?
Been busy the last 2 days.... turned 300 miles on my R-Spec, had the windows tinted as well as had AirBlue tint applied to the windshield, changed the fog lamps, changed the tag lights to LED, and stripped, clay bared, and applied sealant to the paint and wheels. Car looks amazing. Should have the grill painted, and rear deck lid installed in a week or so. Ill post some pics tomorrow and after the grill and wing are installed.
