Saw the door trim. And that the lowered cost by ridding the expandable map pocket on the front doors. I like that feature.

No paddle shifting.

Looks like no control wheel for DIS. Back to leaning forward and pushing a maze of buttons. Looking down to do it. Copies the Taurus SHO, but not touch sensitive.

Steering wheel has nice color code for phone dial and hangup. And zoom in on logo. It is outline of the winged logo. Not the cheapo Hyundai logo. Might be overseas wheel, or real thing.

That particular car was in Germany, but probably just a KDM version shipped in from Korea.

Steering wheel looks nice and thick.

Actually, the knob for DIS is still there. It's the same as in the 2014 Equus

Also, there is something behind the wheel. I would guess that is a paddle shifter.

Anybody notice the door trim on the driver's door is completely different from the rear door? Carbon fiber maybe?

To me it looks like black tape on top of the wood-grain trim. Not sure if the wood-grain is real, but I would bet it is (at least on that particular trim level).

I don't think it's tape. Comparing the two, there is no silver painted trim on the driver's door that is on the rear door. I doubt anyone would have taken the time to tape that particular trim piece. If I had to guess, I'd say it was leather on top and high gloss black on the bottom. Me saying carbon fiber is just my optimism showing. I want to believe that is real wood but not sure.

I really like the current exterior but I don't care for the current interior. I have feeling what we see for the new interior in these spy shot is what we will see when new model is announced. They probably won't change too much. They are also using similar vent positioning for Equus interior.

I think it would look better having the vents below the screen similar to new Lexus GS. Then Hyundai could put wider screen also.

They are not symmetrical. They're both the exact same shape, with one turned-upside down. I no likey.

If you look at the pic above with the blue notebook is the driver door storage, you can see a small piece of the "silver" (chrome) trim that is sticking out where they didn't tape it.

It looks okay for exterior and interior. Although I kind of think the interior needs more done to it to compete with the Lexus GS, 5 series etc. Hope this isn't near production look and they add more to it. Also hoping for a 12.3" navigation screen like most competitors offer.

The problem with that interior is... it doesn't look as good as the Azera's!

This one is like a haphazard afterthought!

Of course... once all the tape and covers and such are off, it might look better.

Azera interior, while it looks good in a picture, I was disappointed when I saw it in person.

I really like the new Lexus GS dash and steering wheel. If Hyundai could some how mimic that style along with 12" screen size it would be a big improvement over these spy pictures.
