  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Price Paid For 2015 Genesis

Where are you located ? I am in the Cleveland, Ohio area and been trying to purchase a 3.8 RWD Ultimate in Casablanca White with Beige interior for two months with no success. We seem to have a lot of Black AWD vehicles in this area.
Did you locate your color combination yet? I am in Atlanta, GA and I am purchasing one in Empire State gray they also have the Casablanca White/Beige.

Since we're "strictly" talking about the price we paid, here's my number.
I paid $40,9xx OUT THE DOOR for my 2015 Ibiza Blue 5.0 Ultimate.

Even for employee pricing, that's quite a bargain, at an MSRP of $55,700 - the Ibiza Blue hasn't been seen too often in dealerships - (at least not here in the NE.

Just closed the following deal. Empire Gray/Black Genesis 3.8 Ultimate. Hyundai Circle Pricing of $43,799. I agreed to pay an additional cost of $100. for window tinting and trunk wing installed.

Seemed like a good deal.

Sounds real good is that RWD or AWD.

That's what they said last year when Atlanta was immobilized by snow! At least in NY, I know I'm in for it! 😉

For how many days was it immobilized? 😆

It was ice, not snow and ~2 days the first time and ~1 day the other this past winter. AWD wouldn't have helped all that much in that ice storm. The roads were jammed with cars, so no matter what XYZ-drive you had you didn't move much. When the national freight trucking companies shut down service, you know it's pretty bad.

That was RWD. Didn't think I really need AWD in GA.

Was only asking so as to relate options to price. There was no other opinion suggested.

Reminds me of Houston one damn Friday morning when I had to go and take a test... Seeing freight trucks stuck on overpasses 20 story high was scary as shit :) But then I wouldn't buy an AWD with a daily fuel penalty for one day out of 365.

For me in NY/NJ area problem is that there is NO ultimate RWD closer than 154 miles away in Rhode Island. There are not and NEVER HAVE BEEN any RWD Ultimate in the area - and that was what I wanted but I gave up. ;)

This is my first post here; good evening to all. The MSRP window sticker on mine was 50,200. I negotiated to 44,500 which I thought was a pretty decent price. It's a black on black 3.8 Ultimate 2WD. I also traded my 2013 Azera which was a fine car, but not nearly as fine as the new Genesis.

I purchases a 3.8 Ultimate, MSRP $50,588 I walked out paying $46,600 + TTL. I also had them agree to adding all weather mats, rebadging the rear, tinting, rear bumper applique, and clear front bra at no cost. They are also shipping my vehicle from Arlington down to Houston. I also got the platinum extended warranty for $1300. I think I got a good deal??
I declined the warranty, as my auto carrier offers one for an additional monthly fee of $8.50 and you don't have to add the coverage immediately, as long as you do so before 15,000 miles or 15 months. It provides the same coverage for 7 years/100,000 miles with a 250 deductible. I realize the Hyundai warranty is 10 years and a 100 deductible, but at 3 times the price, plus you're paying for the full 10 years, even if you trade the car 2 years from now. Just pointing out another option for those of you who have not yet purchased, or didn't purchase an extended warranty. Your auto insurance carrier may offer something similar.

Welcome good deal on a very nice car. Enjoy

Hey Chuck! Yeah, you have to have a Sonata or Elantra on that other site lol (The Azera forum ain't bad). :D

GEICO, and have been with them for 25 years, so I guess you know that means I'm happy with their product and service.

Thanx for the carrier info. I'll check into it

Sorry Chuck.... I meant, "yes, you're right about much more action on this site. The other site has more activity in the Elantra, Sonata, Azera boards". I definitely recognized you as a fellow Genny owner from over there!
