  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Genesis Owners: What vehicle did your Genesis replace?

1994 Honda Accord LX-- thing took me through high school, college, and then some!

Traded in my 2005.5 Audi A4 2.0T Quattro (2nd Audi) for 2010 3.8 Tech love it so far

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
I had a 1991 Cougar Xr7, with 435,00kms, on it, before I was rear ended, by a Redneck driving a cube van.

Replaced a 2013 Infiniti G37xS with a 2015 Genesis 3.8 HTRAC Signature. Genesis much more luxurious. Not as agile or quick but more than adequate. Very pleased thus far particularly on long trips.

I'm looking at the 2015 AWD Genesis. It would replace my 2010 Subaru Legacy Limited 3.6R. :)

2006 Ford Five Hundred

Traded in a 2007 Camry XLE V6 for my new R-Spec. And I thought the Camry was powerful - all it had was a measly 270 HP!

2008 Nissan Quest 😂😂😂 Got a 2013 3.8. My favorite car to own to date

2013 Infiniti G37xS, which was my 6th or 7th Infiniti lease in a row. When it came time to buy, I was much more impressed with the toys, finish and styling of the 2015 Genesis V6 AWD Ultimate. I also enjoy driving a car that is more unique, I see Infinitis on the road every day, hardly ever see a Genny.

First Hyundai for me was 2012 genesis rspec 5.0 - a friend of mine driving an equus convinced me to go for a test drive and I'm so glad I did - never in my life did I think I'd buy a Hyundai, I was driving a 2006 e55 amg, out of warranty, and was starting to experience $1000 repairs every other month, not counting the fact that half the electronic stuff didn't work already. once they dropped the new Genesis, I knew I had to upgrade, and just picked up a 2015 black/ivory 5.0 ultimate with 3900 miles for 42,400. I loved the 2012 and never had anything go wrong in the 1yr4mo's I owned it, and I'm looking forward to "hopefully" another hassle free ownership experience.

New Genesis replaced a 2009 Genesis V6/Tech. Love the new car but I must say the 09 was pretty sweet also.

Traded in my 2008 Pontiac Solstice GXP, for a 2012 Rspec sedan. Havent looked back, love the style, love the power nice upgrade.

I traded my 1998 Z28 Camaro(i owned it for 17 yrs) in on my 2009 Genesis base. I was looking at a Dodge Charger or a Chrysler 300 as well but the Genesis was alway something I liked. This one was priced too well and was in excellent condition with 39,000 on it. The only thing I regret is the poor sounding radio. My camaro had the Monsoon system in it and it sounds great. I guess I traded a great stereo for a more refined and room car.

My 2015 Genesis 3.8 Ultimate replaced a 2011 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid. Got tired of the rubber-band CVT and unpredictable throttle response.

I traded s 2010 maxima. No comparison to the 5.0 Genesis. I have had it for 3 yrs now and only the amp has been a problem. On my 3rd replacement now.
