My gen is lowered and I can say from personal experience it's not any more firm than stock. I'm sure Huddleston can attest to that as well since he is lowered too. If you were anywhere near southern CA I'd let you drive her so you'd know I'm not full of it. In regards to the parking blocks, that is absolutely true. Your front is in danger of hitting them. To avoid all that I park backwards almost everywhere so I can see where the blocks are with the cameras. I have the signature so I don't have the sensors in front.

Agree 100%. The handling is slightly improved but the ride has not changed much at all. The car is still very smooth and comfortable. I've been driving lowered cars for years so I guess it's not a big deal to me anymore.

Lmao no kidding I just did it to verify that I got the genny already I'll do an official photo shoot when I get back home...I just have to say the car looks better in person I'm totally in love with my big ol' girl.

1. DLR are the led not the amber, I will post pictures
2. Steering wheel is different then youtube vid. Looks way way sportier

You have a 2016 and not a 2015 then - unless you are not understanding what DRL's are?

I'm posting picture soon, I have the led DLR lights that go around the bottom of whole headlight assembly. I have no red DLR at all and the steering wheel seems like it's alot better then all those youtube review I seen (sportier) pictures posted below.

it's 2015 but the DLR are the bottom led. It doesn't even have the red inner lights. Unless as you stated that I have no idea what DLR is lol

Feb 2015...what in can't get is why I can't turn on the "red dlr", is it only featured on the auto setting? If I go one above the auto setting it goes to that picture I posted

May want to shrink those pictures, hard to see. Can't explain the DRL situation, but hope you did not pay that $5K "Dealer Preferred Package" on the window sticker. What was included in it, gold bullion in the trunk?

Based on the switch position you describe you have your parking lights on (obvious sign is that your tail Iights are on too). Also, in a dark garage like that, your headlights would have turned on too as the DRL's only turn on when in Auto mode. The stalk has 4 positions:

- DRL Off - no DRL's
- Auto - DRL's will be on in daylight (no tail lights), headlights/tail lights come on when dark.
- Parking lights - dim DRL bulbs and tail lights on - not the same as DRL as it's way too dim (and tail lights are on too).
- Full lights (headlights and tail lights) - no DRL's

And +1 on the dealer preferred package comment - a complete rip off of you paid for that!

That picture is taken with with it set one setting below full light and one above auto. The red "DRL" was not on at all in that mode. I didn't pay for that packaged it came with it. Still nice to have them put the genesis badge on there and the floor mats are a nice touch. I negotiated without knowledge of the package. Its worth maybe 500 tops in my opinion. I paid 45k sticker for it and like 49,400 out the door. Not the greatest deal as some of you got but it's still not that bad.

OK cool I just haven't seen the DRL then, really haven't had alot time with my new car. Just noticed no mode would give me the drl during darker times of the day.
