  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Thanks there is definitely an issue with the front calipers on our cars extending too far out for radical wheels without spacers or shaving. But if you nip a little off they fit just fine and I have seen no issue with caliper performance or failure and I am right at 77,000 miles

^ Genesis Coupe Brembo front calipers are skinnier than the OEM Sedan four piston calipers by a good margin.

I am sorry for the image quality of these pics, I desperately need a new phone...I am just waiting on this years crop of new phones to be announced/released before I decide on one.

Anyway, I put some 05+ Mustang fan-blade wheels on my car. I really hated the 09 4.6 wheels and I got these with very good tires for pretty much free. All of the rims have some clear coat peeling/pitting, and one of them is really bad, but I just wanted to see if I liked them and I am liking them more and more each time i look at the car. I do run a 25mm spacer on all 4 corners to get them to clear the brakes in the front, and sit too far in at the rear.

I also pre-apologize if they turn out huge.

Can anyone confirm which size will work better? Square setup. 18x8.5et35 or 18x9et30 ? Im keeping the 18 wheels to maintain 45 height tires for comfort. 40 or 35 tall tires are too much for me now

I think you interpret profile for ride, the brand and tire make a huge impact, talk to anyone that has replaced factory ZPs for normal tyres. However, to address the actual question, square allows greater flexibility in rotation which could be seen as the predominant advantage, staggered tend to "look better" and limit rotation somewhat. It is also important to consider average replacement. Square tends to last longer overall when rotated responsibly, but replacing the rears more often than the fronts, interms of cost, can be relegated to the tire choice. It's your call really.

I was hoping to see a few cabernet red pearl genesis' with wheels. I recently purchased one and have only seen 1 online with aftermarket wheels. Wasnt the color i was planning on but it looks great in person. I really think this color needs a simple chrome wheel, Any suggestions?

Welp, got them on just before sunset, but zI couldn't find my good camera, so just whipped out the phone. perfect fit, amazing ride, lighter than stock (slightly), and Pilots. Works for me and worlds ahead of those friggin mich primacy tires which are hard enough to use as anvil die
