Winter wheel & tire packages?

Hey all, I bought winter tires and rims directly from Genesis as part of my purchase and just has them installed at Downtown Hyundai Toronto.

G70 3.3T Sport, Siberian Ice.
10-spoke 18” black.
Michelin X-ice 3 (All four are 225/45).

Price included first mounting, balancing, and TPMS. Can confirm I paid nothing today. Very good service.

I think they actually look great for winters. Pics don’t do them justice - it’s a very dreary day.

Friggin hot ride...so jealous.

Surprised 18” wheels look so good...hardly any gap.

What are thoughts on Siberian Ice...from yourself and others?

Those look fantastic. I'm debating at this moment if I should order them in Titanium. What did you end up paying for them in the end? I'm in Winnipeg BTW.

Do you mean the single spoke or double spoke ones? I never which perspective when people say left or right. Thx :)
Single spoke with the Genesis center cap.

Yeah I was surprised the 18s look just fine too. Can’t say I notice much difference from the 19 summers, maybe because the sidewall on the winters is a bit higher.

Honestly love the Siberian ice. Find I’m always looking at how it changes in light. Anybody who has seen it likes it.

Paid $1,099 for the tires and $1,089 for the rims, plus HST. Included first installation.

Thought it was a decent price or close enough to market that I didn’t care, plus recommended by Genesis.

I'm in Wpg as well and just had my SI delivered with titanium winter tires. let me know if you want to have a look.

Oh, yes I saw that car the other day. Absolutely beautiful! Like others have said, the SI color has to been seen live to really be appreciated!

Did they install TPMS in the tires? How long did you have to wait for delivery?

I'd like to see it for sure!

I was out of town for two weeks after ordering it and it was ready on my return. Call Tony at Genesis Winnipeg and he will give you my contact info.

my winter set was delivered to my place last week. very good service and the parts guy was super to deal with - i will follow up with a commendation to the dealer shortly.

i went with the titanium Fast 212 wheels and Conti SI winters. when the package arrived, i was surprised to see that they actually gave me the high performance Conti TS 850P SSR (run flat) set, and the AMG spec no less. the tires say 'MOE' which i learned means the OE Mercedes winter tire for some of their AMG models. these go for considerably more than the Conti SI which is more of an all-around winter tire. they would be the most expensive option by far on the Genesis website. works for me i guess. 224/45/18 all around.

i will need to get a wheel brush for cleaning the small spaces between spokes - it's a bit tight but looks much better than the other Genesis OE choices.

edit: the tires do indeed come filled with nitrogen as part of the package as stated on the Genesis website

They didn't want to provide your info due to privacy reasons, which I understand. They said they would pass my info onto you.

canucklehead604 - Those look pretty fantastic!

Very nice and a good deal. When I was looking at these rims I was thinking about what they would be like to clean also.

Are both the front and rear pair ET 35 and center bore 67.1mm?

^ same rim and tire size all around for the winters - they are not staggered like the summers. +35 offset, can't recall the bore but next time i'm thinking of it i'll check.

I just had mine put on today (and of course it is raining...) but here are some pics. Same wheels as several others here since they came from Genesis, but I went with Nokian Hakkapeliitta 9's (studded):

Picked up my car today.

Nice cars and wheels guys!

Do you both have factory tint or aftermarket?

Interesting observation. The genesis packages are supposed to include nuts. I see in the photos provided some people who purchased the black wheels received black nuts to match the rim, while others may have received steel/titanium. I would much prefer the black personally, it might be something worth confirming with your local shop when purchasing.

Car looks good @KDX ! I feel like it has been a long wait!

That is a good point and I hadn't even looked close enough to notice that @mcornett and I have different nuts (hehe...). Anyway, my Genesis dealer actually delivered the wheels to my work as the tire place with Nokian's is close by and I didn't want to drive to the dealership. I opened one of the boxes to confirm that the nuts and tpms sensors were included as they should be and they were. So I didn't specify color but the black ones were included.

As for tint, I had it done after buying the car, ~35% all around. Also has the full front end wrapped with PPF.
