  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

New to me 2016 with the tech package. Bought CPO from Sacramento Hyundai last April. This really is a nice car. It came down to this or a Lexus GS350 FSport and I had just about settled on the FSport when I found this one. 24K miles, 2 year lease return. Even with the 100 K mile platinum warranty it was approx $10K cheaper then the Lexus. Not quite as cushy but a better driver and a bit faster in my opinion. I really enjoy it. Anyway. We had lunch up in Truckee yesterday and I snapped this pic on the way home on Donner Pass road up by the little bridge. Beautiful day, beautiful car20190110_135848 (2).webp

Haha! it's actually AWD with OEM all season tires, it isn't that bad though ;)

You seem to be a real Hyundai fan. I have been watching this car company's evolution for a long time. They are a huge player in the large equipment / ship building sector which is why I took them seriously when they went to upscale vehicles. I am not meaning to hijack a thread but I would really appreciate feedback from your wife on her "loaded" Santa Fe. Once Hyundai goes "Genesis" on a mid size SUV I think that will be my wife's new ride.

First post, just thought I'd share my 2015 5.0. I've had it since Nov '17 and so far I've done an aluminum pedal swap, custom steering wheel, muffler delete, and a few other minor mods.F8D07FC1-5DC1-47B2-AA46-528AA45968AC.webpAC7EDA3A-B116-4560-89CF-CF9A36785DFD.webp2C22066A-D4A8-48A1-AD0F-0593652483EB.webp

Well.....I guess you can say that, lol we switched from "german's" 6-8 years ago and we're happy with Hyundai products, reliable cars, no questions about it. My wife is on hers 4th Santa Fe.....started with '10 2.4L > '14 3.3L (basic) ?> '17 3.3L loaded > '18 3.3L loaded. She said she doesn't care what car she drives, except for how many "buttons to touch" is in the car - more buttons = better, lol
After selling my last bimmer, I got myself a brand new Santa Fe '13 2.0L AWD and it lasted just one year (lack of power comperred to the v8 4.4L 282hp/320tq, LOL) after that, check my signature, the rest is there ;)

We were having some fun today in the snow. Thanks to my wife, otherwise I wouldn't have any of those pictures, lol

Hell yea!! So freaking cool, I live in Colorado and would love to find a place and someone else to help me do this, I grew up in Switzerland as a kid and absolutely love snow! I bet you had a blast, did you enable sport mode? And you look awesome with those shades btw lol!

Good that you were able to take photos while your wife was driving for you. That's what you meant, right?
I don't think that's what he meant, if you zoom in you can clearly see a guy hehe

I met a cop in Aspen, years ago, he was from Switzerland! He and his female partner held the traffic for me as I was backing up my truck for 20 min. b/c there was no place to turnaround.
No, no sport mode, just "D" with traction and stability control disabled.

No, I was driving and she was taking the photos. ~800 of them in about 30 minutes! hahaha!

Just hold the button for 3-5 sec. and it will display on the screen that all is disabled.
