  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Genesis GV70 Reviews

Deleted ‘cause my phone is stupid and didn’t show the rest of the discussion shoeing trunk space.

Interesting and in-depth comparison btwn a base 2.5T GV70 and a loaded Tucson hybrid (Eng subs).

Covers everything from ride comfort (including 2nd row) to seat comfort to ambiance of cabin (keep in mind KDM tune).

The interior looks nice, although I'm not sure about all the oval shapes. Remember when Ford did this with the Taurus? Not so good, and aged very badly.

I prefer the interior look of the GV80, though the infotainment control in the GV70 looks much improved.

The digital gauge cluster and infotainment/haptic controls will date the car regardless of the shapes.

It looks fine to me for the next three years. I don't plan on keeping it longer than that.

Asian Peterolhead, tested the 2.5T sport with a 0-100kph (0-62mph) time of 6.5 sec. Not bad at all.

I tend to notice the small details. like this... notice the engine placement of the 2.5T, in-between the strut towers... with what appears to be maybe 50% more behind them? (Trying to find a good pic). That makes for some GREAT handling prowess when the engine is more equal/behind the suspension, and not in front of it towards the nose. The 3.5T being bigger, sticks out more towards the nose. Lighter weight more towards the middle, and an under 7 sec 0-60? Hmmm....

The below is the Asian Petrolhead video view.

I was going to post the video here, but would have probably been yelled it "ThErE iS a ViDeO tHrEaD!"

And if I posted in the video thread where I initially saw it... "ThIs IsN't A cOmMeNt ThReAd!"

I posted in the video thread too last night, but it is a review. So they can yell at me. :)

Still no new real reviews from the big boys on line and the car is now out and selling. They cannot be too happy. Hyundai has a tendency to get new cars to dealers earlier than they expect.

Still no reviews and I've had mine for 5 days. I should do one and post it so I can get free money like all the others in technology land

Test drove the GV70 today and dealer is up charging about 6k above the price. I love the GV70 but Imma wait until the hype goes down and get one next year not worth $900-1,200.00 a month car note.

Me too, and when 2.5T is available. 300 hp should be plenty. Hopefully Genesis will revise the trim contents so the 2.5T Advanced is not such a stripper trim in next year’s model. This year’s is a no go (and not even available lol)

300hp is plenty but imma be honest that 3.5 375hp is the truth I must say. Imma horsepower type of guy so I want that extra horsepower in my vehicle esp an SUV compact or GV80 size.
