  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

2015 Genesis Sedan Reviews

2015 Hyundai Genesis Sedan
Price as tested: $47,000

One of the stronger contenders for this year's Luxury and Value Car of the Year, the Genesis was barely edged out by the Honda Fit for value and the Mercedes-Benz C300 for the luxury-car category. Judges consistently praised its suspension and chassis tuning, while being only slightly let down by its generic styling and cabin refinement that trails the Bavarian competition.

“The surprise of the competition. The suspension -- its spring rates and damping -- is tuned to perfection. The ride is sublime, and the motor melts like butter. For $48,000, including all the innovative tech that arrived in our tester, the Genesis is a steal," said Alex Lloyd. "But the interior still lacks the quality of other high-end luxury manufacturers like Mercedes.”

The 2015 C300 interior looks like someone bolted their iPad to the dash as an afterthought - I'll take the Genesis interior any day!!!

IMO, the Genesis interior is quality. I don't know why these reviewers think differently.

I friggin' hate that look; it seems to be popular these days with the Germans; they can keep it. While I can agree the reviewers about the somewhat generic exterior styling (especially in the rear), I completely disagree with them about the interior. Sometimes I feel like auto-reviewers are just looking for something to ding. It's especially interesting when the reviewers from different "publications" praise and ding the exact opposite items, respectively.

That pretty much sums up the ride quality of the Genesis. :D

...so what was partially negative?

My lane keeping feature works fine. I never knew how badly I drove until I purhased this car. I better work on this immediately! Just kidding! But mine does work.

I wonder if CR realizes there are 3 setting for the lane keep assist.....
