It's very clear that Audi is the target copy car for the new Genesis. My preference would have been to stay with the Lexus, Mercedes and BMW design cues.

Agree, however, that the new Genesis is prettier than the Kia Clitoris.

Also agree with extending the electronics warranty!

It looks Jaguar, Audi, Volvo, and Infiniti had a foursome and one of 'em came out pregnant. It definitely looks upscale, but I'm on the fence with the design so far. At least it doesn't look like the Azera, which was my bigger fear.

Mine too. Hope the grille turns out more MB-like than the renderings floating around. And rear headroom needs to not suck. But seeing it in motion improves on my original impressions from the photos - nice confident stance in front.

A very good point. It does not look like Sonata, Azera, et al, and that is good. Still, I was hoping for a Mercedes/Lexus look clone for the new Genesis, not Audi's look!

I also hope they keep the seat cushions the same width as the current Genesis. Our seats are much more pleasant than Lexus.

I was in the market for a new car, but after seeing the recent spy pics and renditions, I may just have to wait until the 2014 Genesis model makes it here

I am getting bummed-out that the whole industry seems to be moving toward red turn signals in the rear, instead of amber. Up until recently, most foreign manufacturers used amber, and most American cars used red. Amber is much easier to see, and therefore much safer when changing lanes, IMO. But in looking at pics, it is hard to tell for sure if next-gen Genesis has red rear turn signals or not.

Aside from that, the next-gen Genesis looks more like a Sonata from the rear, and the wheels are ugly (even though I am not really into wheels).

The taillights are the weakest and worst part of the rear end's look. Hyundai, please bring the second generation of these taillights here before the first gen ones!

As to the new front end, how many accent/halo lights do you really need!? AND, don't get me started describing the "facial expression" depicted by the front end. It appears to be saying "So sorry!"
