In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. 2015 Hyundai Genesis Sedan Spy Photos

Re: 2014 Hyundai Genesis Sedan Spy Photos

Nice slide show, Gene! Thank you!

Interesting changes to the exhaust tips. Looks like they're playing with double oval tips starting at about 2:35.

I think they're gonna cover those up and integrate them into the bumper, tbh.

Not growing on me.

Found this video of new Genesis.

Not sure about those inverted air vents. The dash looks abit dated already even before its released. Glad I got an 2012 MY.

Re: 2014 Hyundai Genesis Sedan Spy Photos

At the 2008 New York Auto Show I saw the new Genesis RWD luxury car from Hyundai. It moved me. I waited with great anticipation and purchased my black on black Genesis in 2009.

I see the spy photos and feel none of the passion I felt for the current Genesis model. Of course, none of these are photos of the finished car we'll see in the showrooms next year.

Re: 2014 Hyundai Genesis Sedan Spy Photos

Still very excited for the 14's. i sold my '09 genesis 4.6 and switched back to bmw. But the 14 will prob make me switch back. Cant wait!

+1 (except I waited until 2012)

I did the same thing. I bought a new 750li (2012). I'm not switching back, but I'm thinking of buying a genesis for my commuter car needs (I'm putting way too many miles on the bmw).

Re: 2014 Hyundai Genesis Sedan Spy Photos

The tail lights look horrible @ 1:03, appear to be non-led..why they would move away from LED's is well beyond me considering how good they look and are way better from a safety standpoint.

Re: 2014 Hyundai Genesis Sedan Spy Photos

In Driver's video above, the car looks short and stubby in the movie shots (the other cars look normal), but the car looks longer in the still photos.

Also, why is there amber color in the taillights when the turn signal is not on?

Re: 2014 Hyundai Genesis Sedan Spy Photos

I thought the same thing and I don't think that video is in correct ratio. Also if you look at the pictures at the end they look stretched a bit.

Car does look better in the picture when it's wider with lower profile.

Re: 2014 Hyundai Genesis Sedan Spy Photos

the real question is, why did the new Equus got presented with no all wheel drive???

Does that mean the next Genesis won't have it either? it makes no sense!

From what we've seen new redesigned Genesis (perhaps not 2014 and it'll be 2015?) will have all wheel drive. Perhaps Equus will also get that in 2015 model year.

From what I've read on this forum all signs were pointing to new body work and AWD to show up on the 2014 6 months from now.

The first hint that it won't happen for 2014 was the new Equus...unless you know of something I've missed.

Re: 2014 Hyundai Genesis Sedan Spy Photos

I thought the 2014 Genesis was going to be the remodel. Now it's 2015? Well, that sucks.

No. I don't have any more info than you. Just speculating.

technically our cars aren't that old for us to be tired of them...but if they throw awd and hud my way I might not have time to think twice and will get the V8 this time around as it shouldn't have any issue putting the power down.

Re: 2014 Hyundai Genesis Sedan Spy Photos

The 2014 Equus is just a mid-cycle refresh. It is not all new. That's why it doesn't have AWD. As I understand it, the 2014 Genesis is supposed to debut sometime later this year.

Re: 2014 Hyundai Genesis Sedan Spy Photos

Any speculation on the interior room of the next gen design? I am 6'6" and my Genesis (I have had a 2009 and now own a 2011) is the most comfortable car I have ever owned. The spy photos seem to look a bit smaller in exterior size. I am hoping the current legroom and headroom are preserved.
